"We ask NASA's Chief Scientist, Dr. Ellen Stofan, and Deputy Chief Technologist, Jim Adams, 'Why Engineering?'" I like very much to know whether Dr. Stofan and Chief Technoloigst Adams can tell us whether engineers have to employ the mathematics used by Einstein to come to General and Special Relativity, and the mathematics used by the founders of Quantum Mechanics? in designing and in operating and in monitoring the NASA spacecrafts heading to Mars and already hovering around Mars.
