A very important video. I wish I could have been there but heres my opinion anyways: Turkey is really safe for girls and the 9 months I was there I didnt feel uncomfortable even once. It would be great if girls see this video and feel less scared and take the step to come here. Keep it up Shakeeb 👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Shakeeb-ul-Hassan, Really informative! I am a father of two girls and am thinking of sending them to Turkey for studies. I was truly skeptic but after watching your video, I think I am ready to send my girls there. Thank you for your efforts in educating students and their parents in Pakistan. All the best with your studies and I hope you make your parents and all of us proud!!
As a türk , I am glad people feel safe in our country. My mom is from Pakistan and I just visited Pakistan Twice a time but unfortunately Pakistan is not 1 percent safe for a girl. Even your own home your terace your roof nothing is safe cat calling men's staring eve tease these are all the experiences I faced. Pakistan should be developed country.
Yes it isn't safe thanks to our polititions who couldn't succeed to maintain the rule of law and provide opportunities for education to every poor(we have gov schools but children don't go they do child labor 😭) unless we achieve rule of law we aren't much safe it's not like we aren't even 1percent safe where there's bad there's even more good so saying that it's not 1percent safe is also wrong
As you mentioned cat calling and staring believe me it doesn't happen everywhere in Pakistan yes there are some filths but more than 80 percent will honor you and will make u feel safe Pakistan isn't that unsafe
@@thefluffybunny5083 no offence to anyone there. My mum belongs from Pakistan so I do have idea about the situation there. Besides, leaving politics and all. Pakistan is not safe. Girls aren't safe their. Stealing and all. Yes there would be some parts of the country which are safe but areas like local areas. They're not safe

Salam. How Pakistani female students now feel about staying in Turkey. Because this video is of July 10, 2020. Can tell you us that now after the social media trends against Pakistanis in Turkey, is Turkey still a safe place for female students from Pakistan.
Assalamo alekum. Bhai me ek Indian larka hu aur Oman me job karta hu aur turkey Ana chahta hu visit visa par mujhy puchna ye tha ke aap jis hostel me rehty hn uska monthly rent kya he aur kya jab me aonga ap waha mere liye booking kar dengy plz.
Compared to their home country, they regard Turkey safe, secure and developed, while people are well mannered, educated, ethical and friendly, as you might have got opinion of one of them, who was speaking English. If full translation matters, I can paste in comments, in case allowed.
@@hnbg6538 thank you very much for your efforts. i would be very happy if we had the opportunity to find out what our pakistani / indian friends think of our country. but of course i don't want to take up your time when you are busy. best regards
It's good to know others opinion. Nice of you for being formal, but np, I can spare an hour or two, though I can't assure quality translation, I can try at least. Thank you
If allowed, a segment of this video is translated below, which is to be continued with next post soon. ... Girl in Black: Q: Your name please and what do you study here? A: I am Dr Humaira Khan & came to Turkey for my M.Phil degree. Q: Is Turkish society safe for girls or not? What is your opinion? A: The region, where I live & experienced so far is all safe for girls because, in comparison, I think the people there in my country need more time to attain good ethics, manners and culture. Turkey is like 100 years ahead of us in these things and coexisting with women in all walks of life is a normal experience of everyday life for men, unlike in our society, it's noticed as something unusual or strange. There is no such thing like harassment or follow a woman in this society, so I personally think, it's very much safe in region of my experience. Girl in Khaki Beige, sitting. Q: Your name please? In Turkish society, do women have freedom of choice, whether they wear covered dresses or open style dresses? Do this society criticises these things? A: My name is Shanza. No, I have never faced any problem or criticism and in fact, there is no such thing here. We have the freedom of choice, whether wear covered or open style dress. I would say they don't even pay attention or take notice of these things at all. I have seen Turkish girls wearing both covered or open style dresses without being noticed or criticised. They have total freedom of choice in it. Girl in Maroon Scarf: Q: Your name please? You are staying in a hostel and Turkish fellow girls are also there with you. Being a foreign female student, how Turkish fellow girls treat or behave you? Is their behaviour normal or rude or do they misbehave you? A: My name is Huma Majeed. During early days of my arrival, I had communication problem with room mates as most of domestic female students are not well conversant in English, so there was language barrier, but after a month or so, as I developed my Turkish language curricular skills, we started communicating easily & became more frank with each other, so it was just language barrier and their behaviour is just fine. Girl in Gray Trousers: Q: Your name please & what do you study here? You are in Turkey for the last two years now, so during stay, have you ever felt Turkey unsafe for girls? A: My name is Hina Zuberi and I am doing my Master degree in food engineering. As a girl student, I have never felt unsafe or insecure here. I would like to add that at one occasion or two, I had to go out at midnight alone. Though I didn't experience anything wrong, I think regardless of place or country in general, it's not suggested to go out at midnight alone. So in my opinion, it is all safe & secure for a female. To be continued....... ☺

shivanand ms No our regions were defined by separate empires before arrival of British after Mughals the Mughal empire stretched all the way to Kabul do you think you have same culture as Afghan? Cultures are shaped by religion , secondly the only relation Pakistanis have culturally with Indians is minority and muhajir. Pakistan doesn’t only share border with India, Northern Indian is not majoritarian face of your country it is just shown to be. Pakistan has shared heritage with Iranic/Central Asian populations. I love Indians but this is a common misconception, it is a fraud to a lot of our nation that see themselves as separate people not out of hatred but its facts, Indian world is abit different to ours our countries are diverse in their own separate ways.
@@itsmee6663 turkey chaly jao wahn chitar bhi nhy maray ga koi , sorry to say. They will treat you as a foreigner. 2nd citizen. No country will give you the same freedom as Pakistan will. I've seen this attitude of Turkish people online on Twitter especially after Pakistani people have started bootlicking Turkish people after watching ertugrul(although I didn't watch it myself)
