I'm intrigued, When you checked the firtst map, you mentioned that the back was the same and you didn't even bother looking at the back of the other two. The pack states:" Three double-sided 11˝ × 16˝ maps round out the package." I would have taken that as 6 maps (all three being double-sided). Why have identical backs? I would have thought a) MMP made a mistake, or b) is was a lame triick to lure buyers into adding it to their collection. But behold: I checked on BGG and found this interesting comment by someone: The boards "... are not identical - the hex coordinated differ. Also on the short edges - the placement of the woods in some half-hexes differ. This is so they can line up with other boards in different confugurations so those woods half-hexes match up with woods half-hexes on other boards." OK, fair enough.
