The Granddaddy of tactical wargames! Squad Leader was like a 77 or maybe even 76 release, and here it is some 46 freakin years later, and new material is still coming out! Amazing.

Looks like more yum yum ASL goodness from MMP, ordered my copy last weekend from Ritterkrieg, can't wait.

Darker Green = Valley (-1 height "hill").

Some nice beefy scenarios in there as well as an intro. Nice mix! I need to start playing on VASSAL again.

Thanks for sharing this, several of these look like they could be starter kit compatible.

I believe that Board 91 is not a wooded hill, but rather a wooded depression. Hills are usually some shade of brown, while a depression is a darker green.

My Pack arrived Yesterday. The scenarios inside look to be well balanced and fun. Have already gotten out Cats and Easy Eights and pushed some counters around solo.

Pete Shelling lives in Mentor, OH. I am aware of him having played entire scenarios without referencing the rulebook, so he knows his stuff.

It's interesting, and maybe a little frustrating, that they've started to mix in Starter Kit boards into full ASL scenarios. Fine for playing on VASL, but there might be a contingent of ASL players who don't want to buy SK modules just to get the boards.

Is there a color mismatch on the two boards for the clear terrain, or is that just a lighting thing?
