I have the album. Kelso Herston was there and he was the last musician to see Bob Wills while he was still lucid. Recording session took place in the great state of Texas.

I have listened to this band on numerous occasions and once met the original pedal steel guitar player but had never seen any other band members. I had to go check the cast of the Fifth Element to find out who played general Munro to find out it was Brion Howard James and not Ray Benson lol

@lonerboy24 I can imagine McGraw putting his two cents in on the song. "EEEEEEWWWW!! This just doesn't sound top 40 enough. This will never ever sell 10 million copies like my mainstream booty-shaking country music!! OOOOOHHHHHHH!!" Then hopefully Haggard gave him the ass-whipping he so righteously deserved.
