I think it's doable, but you will definitely need a lyra with a perfect kit, and since you're investing strength points for xHA you could also use a socket shield with dd seed. Definitely a necklace with DD seed as well. Having good wings is also a big part of the success in the ASM, at least w3 max to rack up that absorb. Good luck and let me know how it goes :)

​@@gianthedragonknight Thank you for getting back to me! I really wished I had JOH my xHA items earlier before the switch to new JOH system T_T. Only 1 item has 7% dd. I switched from meteor storm SM to ASM (currently 2.1K agi). Currently with my set, I have 19% DD (7% from 1 item + 12% dark devil shield lvl 9 seed). Unable to get Necklace (not 850). Have punish Errtels. Unable to afford Lvl 4 wings or +15 wings. It seems very underwhelming right now. Can really only solo DD2 now due to not killing fast enough. Thankfully I found DD5 party (phew). Maybe this will get better as I level up more and can get the necklace? I'm thinking of either getting a cheap DD set + rings and keeping towards ASM. Or I am thinking changing back to hybrid SM with hades + DD+life set. What do you think? Thanks!

@@MagicalFlyingPuppies I think all you're doing is fine, but maybe your wings are not good enough. I would recommend w3 Max at least, or CQ which are both 69%. What makes this build OP in pvm is the total absorb attainable, thats the main damage reduction aspect of the build. So get wings with the highest absorb % possible and youll do fine even without reaching DD cap or high defense.

Posiblemente sean los 30 agi que tengo en el kriss con la nueva opt JOH! Super buena esa opt para los supports, a la EE tambien le meti 30 ene joh en una kriss. El ice lo puse para ayudar a mi party, pero definitivamente el poison es mejor para poder farmear joyas en nixis y ese tipo de usos. Posiblemente lo cambie por esa razon, subiria el kill ratio en nixis, por ende mas drops.

​@@DSAndGames ohh asm rebirth! cuentame una cosa, se puede lograr el 98% absorb con el barrier de un asm rebirth+ w4 max? suponiendo que tenga esos puntos extra en agi, por mucho que lo he intentado en este servidor no logro pasar de 97%.

@@DSAndGames y tristemente mis pad gloves no tienen dd en la opt, y se me olvido conseguir unos con dd antes del cambio de opt JOH.. podia llegar al maximo de DD con ese setsito pero no.. me faltaran 4% dd por toda la eternidad xD

this was during the event where temple mobs were a bit weaker hehe, they also hit me harder now, perhaps w4 are necessary.

con un set exe 4% dd + necklace dd seed lvl10 + par de rings, ya juntas suficiente dd para poder lograr que este build aguante. Lo mas importante es unas wings que tengan al menos 69% de absorb, que junto a tu soul barrier haran la mayor parte del trabajo en cuanto a reduccion de dmg. Un set exe mastery pediria mas fuerza por ende tendrias menos barrier, pero posiblemente juntando la defensa elevada de esos sets+la opt joh nueva se compensaria.. se mereceria un test ya que el Manticore exe tiene una defensa super brutal, y 45+50 dmg decrease en cada parte sumaria 475 de dmg decrease total, tienes razon en considerarlo, pero no te se decir con certeza ya que no lo he hecho.

Meteor ASM has better DPS, but has less absorb. So if you can afford good items with Damage Decrease % the meteor ASM will kill faster. Evil Spirit ASM is more tanky and can survive easier, but killing a bit slower. I like the Evil Spirit because I can throw all the stats in agi and be very tanky, enough to survive anywhere.

Depende de que tipo de maguito quieres, uno que usa el Meteor Storm o Evil spirit? Usas punish?

I believe you should go for the skill enhancement first (The yellow line) and make your skill better. You use Evil Spirit or Meteor? regardless they get much better when upgraded first, and debuff later.

@@gianthedragonknight at what level would I start putting points in debuff? Btw I don’t have pentagram+punish T_T

@@Ku4hii generally speaking you want to finish all your yellow line before adding debuff points, that means maxing out your stats and HP on the right side in yellow. I suggest you find a punish radiance and a lyra pentagram if you want to succeed as an ASM in pvm :)

​@@Ku4hii yeah it's a little thing people do to optimize their builds as ASM, there's a few things happening there: 1- To unlock all the yellow points on the right side of the 800 tree, you need to have a certain amount of points invested in the yellow line (the skill you are upgrading) and maxing out one single skill is NOT enough to unlock all the stats on the right side yellow boxes, *you need 5 points in a different skill*. 2-To be able to add those 5 points you need 10 points in Meteor in MST, because meteor is the only other option you can choose from to add those 5 points, so you do that. (needs 1100+ energy). 3- You reset your MST and use those 10 points somewhere else, but your 800 tree will keep the 5 points in Meteor, although you can't use it. Then you reset your energy points into Agi, you keep enough Energy to use Evil spirit and Soul Barrier, the rest goes in agi. Basically you need a Grey Oblivion Scroll for this, and also energy reset fruits because you need 1100 energy to learn Meteor, and then you want to reset those stats into Agility. Doing this, you can have the 5 points in meteor in tree 800, enabling you to unlock the right side of the tree 800, and also by resetting your MST you can use those 10 points in something else after you added 5 points in meteor in tree 800. Let me know if that makes sense to you. It's a little confusing.
