lucky you. A. Gregorian is the end of the world and Batterfly, the more you listen to it, the more it gets into your soul. Ah, should I be present at that event.
@@broadwaybaby348 Tetelman and Gregorian for the Butterfly? The best of the best. It will be a heavenly experience for those present. I hope it will be recorded so I could see it on TV also here in Italy.
Обожаю это исполнение Какой красивый голос Какое владение драматической экспрессией и какая тонкая выразительность Просто льется как лирико драматическое сопрано, чистое, сильное, необычайно красивое Огромное спасибо за видео
Superb, another one of Puccini’s gems beautifully presented by these two who compliment each other, Freddie you look good as Pinkerton, the lanterns bobbing about made the video a real stunner, I enjoyed it so much
Oustanding. Two great singers who (still) haven't made it to the Met. Grrrrrrr. I saw Asmik in Suor Angelica at Salzburg this past summer and still haven't recovered from the utterly divine experience........
@@operskapevacica1 Cierto. Sin embargo, me pregunto porque no invitan a Saioa Hernández, en estos momentos es una estupenda Tosca, Abigail, Elvira de Trovatore…en fin. Saludos cordiales
I'm not sure where this was performed, but this video is an important public record of the Anthony Minghella staging that has proven so durable at the Met in NYC (and that Grigorian sang in March, superb). This staging is just simply magical.
Very good...sometimes though I would improve the pronontiation...use the lips more ..."p"ronounce! The words are so important and dramatic! Find an italian to advise. I appologize, Freddie, I am not patronizing or anything...i am just a profane!
I like him too... Especially his acting.. he is instantly attracted to Butterfly... The way he smells her. .. and kisses the side of her neck... So so believable I love this duet.. so beautiful and sensual
And once again, Grigorian´s voice lacks intensity and passion. And that´s because she is singing the wrong repertoire. The forte is forced and her color is one-dimensional. Opera has become soooo boring.
