And SOMEHOW people will still poop on this game. This is just one Eikon in the whole game, and I promise they are ALL great. Every one.

@@JJocu I'm not sure how people have problems with this game, it's amazing. The only small complaints I have are that it's a little too easy on regular playthrough, NG+ is at a great difficulty but lots of people won't redo the game for that. Apart from that I guess the lack of secret items/bosses/areas with ultra hard content is something I miss and lack of control over party members/what they are doing. Everything else is great and it is 100% what Final Fantasy needed.

@@THExJMC Asmon looks like he's playing with the dodge assist. If you play with no assists the first playthrough is still pretty challenging.

I can't think of a better one, actually. GoW and DMC have some awesome ones but this game is on another level.

MGR did have some pretty insane ones too. They were more on the goofy side like dmc which are pretty fun to watch, but the ones here look very pretty, and just when you think it's over it keeps going

There's a sidequest called "Caulk & Bawl" so yes, it definitely was.

Trust me dude, after Bahamut fight, the game becomes absolute garbage. The story stops making ANY sense. It's like full blown Game of Thrones season 8 level shit.

@@KidsandDrugs yeah, the story isn't good. I think I was more for the combat. Which is weird for a final fantasy game. I think trying a lot of new things made it this way. I also think I went with super high expectations for story as I played ff14. However, I feel they made a great game overall especially the eikon fights where all budget went there only lol. I probably give it 8.

However I am talking like this because cbu3 made an amazing story execution with 14 so I guess I just had high expectations. However, it is a great game. A very good game to bring in new people to the franchise.

i will say, ironically enough what brings this game down, is its "XIV-ness". the absurdly boring equipments, the long cooldowns, items being borderline useless for most of the time(except the eventual potion used here and there).

It's not perfect but the highs are so high that there are very few games, if any, that compare.

I dunno, I just finished the game today and found it well worth my time, but I learned to dred quest markers by the end of the game.

@@corwinchapman8270 That is kinda true, but once you do the quests you're like "yeah these are actually the best quests in the game" because they feel like they should be main story as they are conclusions to each character arc before the end of the game

As we saw in the shiva vs titan fight, normal human is barely the size of the tip of titan's finger spikes, not even his actual finger lol. Kinda crazy to think normal human are just dust sized in the falling fight part.

@@corwinchapman8270 Zantetsuken on single targets and trash mobs is so good. Odin is by far the best Eikon easily. Rift Slip and Dancing Steel are amazing. Equip Dancing Steel 25% increase on Zantetsuken Gauge (you get it from the Odin chronolith trial), you can get level 5 in almost one Dancing Steel. So you can start a fight with level 5, stagger an enemy, use Diamond Dust (almost to 1.5 multiplier instantly), then in-between you use Rift Slip to give you extra time to do more skills, set up lightning rod if you have it, use Zantetsuken, then use Dancing Steel, almost level 5, Rift Slip, get some hits in to get to level 5, then Zantetsuken again. Then you can just finish off with Gigaflare and the enemy will likely die or be very close. I've gotten up to like 150k stagger damage at level 47 or 48, it's probably gonna be really high on NG+.

@bribri139 6 is on many FF fans top 3, its 2nd for me behind 7 of course. It's old school love because it also took the FF series to new heights. That game was that remarkable.. amazing for its time. It deserves a remake.

its pretty simple really. When the game is junk food like "only up" people dont pay attention to the game and the streamer becomes the star. When the game is good, it is the game that becomes the focus and the steramer is only a second fiddle. Streamers gravitate towards monotonous games in order to stand out,. and also they dont need to pay attention to the actual game and can be looking at chat all the time etc.

Especially if you don’t frequent FF circles online, the likelihood of getting spoilers thrown at you would be small. Trust me, I’ve had to avoid spoilers for multiple JRPGs that I’m planning on playing eventually, it is possible.
