Target swapping in arena is huge and trying to tunnel something is usually not going to work out. Especially against a druid if you see full hots on the DPS swap to the druid to make them CC less and spend more mana. Arena 101 imo.
The other big match with the hunter and monk looked MISERABLE to play against, they kept kiting asmon and he kept switching targets, they'd stun/line of sight/heal every time rofl
@Virtue. , I have not played for a few years , but there were addons that I used such as gtfo and pvp addons that would alert you if you are standing on that cause you damage , there used to be a pvp addon that would alert you to thorns , but I can not remember the name , I will find it.
I actually enjoy watching people learn to play arena rather than already master it. Kind of a weird change that's occurred in me over the years I suppose... This was surprisingly entertaining for 1500-1800mmr.
hes playing fury warrior they suck in pvp. their burst sucks. they're good in pve but suck in pvp, good sustain bad burst. Arms is what you play for the beeg burst and reduced healing.
@Phil Jermakian Not really true man, I used to get cycloned all the time on my holy paladin in TBC. I remember it because I couldn't bubble out of it so I of course thought it should be nerfed lol
Played WoW 10 straight years and i can tell you this Mcconnell is a bad ass pvp team mate. Heals his partner constantly while almost killing the other enemys team mate. Asmon you accually do very well yourself, you definitely wouldnt be easy to drop on your main toon. But Mcconnell is a fantastic player....GG guys
Mcconell is a good player but he should really think about his approach when it comes to communication.. You dont tell a player that they suck for then keep ur mouth closed when its time to bring back the moral you just threw out the window. But then i guess playing for 10-18 hours a day hiden in ur room makes you weird
It baffles me how 2 multi rank1`s carried him to glad. He is so insanly bad, how is it even possible that any player in this game can get him a glad mount.
@@godsfighter1367 meta and ssds carried him a few days ago to glad, hunter + mw monk. Also glad mounts are easy in this expac because you only need 2400, and 50 wins at 2400. There's a big difference between current gladiators and gladiators from back in the day who got glad at 2.8-2.9
I really miss streams like this. Just a chill gamenight with his best friend. It's sad that he moved on to only play games solo or react to videos/reddit all day.
Mccool is underrated. he carried Asmon through a lot of those matches. and I dont blame him for getting pissed that Asmon kept fucking himself over due to thorns
@@DuvalRypr Did we watch the same video? This is one of my favorites but Asmon makes some bad plays, and Mccool was healing Asmon + doing DMG himself and negating abilities. A lot of Asmons hp was dropped because he kept hitting into thorns so much that Mccool got mad at him
@@kennethchristensen7384 He is lying, he wasn't carried, he gave his account details to someone who played his account, there is no way he played himself to that rating, his teammate cannot solo people at that rating, which is what he would have to have done if this is Asmons skill level. This is coming from someone who has boosted people since TBC.
@bean machine No he doesn't, that is straight incorrect. He has recently started streaming a lot of his matches, prior to this season he quite often got his rankings off stream, where he claims he was carried, the truth is, as soon as he hits about 2.1k or so, he can't be that shit and get carried, his carry would have to 2v1 people because he's that horrible. I'm sure many others realize, but he gave his account details to a better player than himself, and that player played Asmongold to a higher rating, prove me otherwise.
He probably got it in some 3s comp where he is not involved in cc chains bar the fears(which he is instructed to use appropriately) and is told when to rally/banner/disarm/duel/sit D/press defensives and who to train. Warrior is one of the easier classes to carry tbh. He is still awful though, but I've seen some really bad plays up to high duelist(and consistently do retarded shit myself) so I do believe one can get carried that hard with enough patience and experienced partners with good communication.
Dude when fighting healers that don’t run out of heals you have to learn how switch from healer to dps class. You had that priest hunter fight like 3 different times and you kept focusing on the priest, even when she ran away away and the dps was not in los for heals.
Hes bringing a pve mentality into pvp, it's not about maxing dmg, you have to bring some utility into the fight aswell to relieve the pressure on your healer aswell, a disarm could give mccuck the relief needed to not have to use a bubble. And obviously ret wasnt working for him, so he has no choice but to holy and heal it, and that means tank the shit
Thorns is bad in that expansion but thorns was way overpowered in cata. I remember when cata launched and I got my resto druid and dueled a protection warrior. All I did was throw on all of my hots and put up thorns and I beat him in a duel because thorns did so much damage before blizzard fixed it.
Honestly if you dont do arena constantly you just dont stay at the same level , he may have been alot better when he was getting gladiator, I know when I was doing arena 5+ hours a day I was constantly top on my server and loved it but now I try and do arena with pugs I cant break 2k cuz I got 1 hour of playtime and a new partner every time lol
