Can't swap to the biggest faction, that is fine. But you will just end up with one faction being essentially empty. Hopefully they have other systems in place to encourage balance.
thats why gw2 WvWvW was nice it was just servers against each other so u couldnt choose to be in the best one. later on ofc ppl PAID for server swaps to be in winning ones but those got matched up against each other then and also small servers got paired with other small servers so they could just like bigger ones have their max cap of players in WvWvW at all times. But in New World i feel one faction dominates and then one will or has to die out to merge into 2nd best so they can maaaybe retake something thus killing the 3 faction dynamicc kinda entirely. They need to think of rlly good ways to rebalance this shit. But its already a good start u cant join leading faction later on. Im wondering now if it would be the play then to wait with joining a faction till u realize which one is the winning one or not. But honestly it would in a way ruin playing with friends but maybe they should just randomly throw u into a faction lmao and force balance this shit idk but they need to find a way to not make 70%+ of the ppl be in the same one
@@bobby45825 Yes, but usually when you play an underdog in a game like this you get compensated in some form. In this game if your faction gets wiped out, you are going to get penalized and your progression and rewards will be hurt because of it. Because of this it seems like in the span of a week every server devolves into a dominant faction, a weaker faction, and a faction that no longer exists.
@@matthewdunphy8524 My Faction at the start of the beta was the under dog faction, now we control 1/3 of the map. And the map is evenly split between all three factions, as long as your company can become good at PvP, you will always be able to climb up from nothing.
I mean, Amazon Game Studios has a $500m a year budget. Even if only a 1/10 of that is going to NW that's still $50m a year which is more than any MMO has gotten afaik since NW has been in development since 2014 (even if they didn't have that high of a budget from the start, even just having it for a couple of years is insane). ESO and SWTOR had a rumoured $200m total.
Every one seems to fail to forget that this is the studio's first major game, too. It's like asking a highly touted college prospect to come in and dominate in the Major Leagues. Sure, it might happen, but you have to give them some time. The gaming community is so entitled it's insane.
I think Josh meant it is realistic tactic to use heavy attacks to breaking the block which he think it’s pretty neat, not like it’s a good feature in New world specifically.
The problem of his entire review is that is was from the perspective of a new player. He did not discuss mid-end game systems, azoth cost and fast travelling issues, lack of mounts and their relation to pvp, wars, high-level zones...so much was not discussed or focused on. Too much focus on animation glitches and server instability which is COMMON IN BETA and something me and my friends didn't even experience, so its unrelatable and irrelevant to the review...
As someone who didn't give a damn about this game, getting a little new mmo excitement and playing beta, I went from not caring at all to being pleasantly surprised. The game is fun, definitely a decent placeholder for more anticipated titles. It's okay to like things. For those who gamed in the 90s this is still so much better than what we had. Im happy and excited for release within reason. Has TONS of potential as well
Josh looks like a guy who's been to every streaming or RU-vid course possible. Often an empty mug in hand for the appearance of a homely atmosphere, all kinds of boxes in the background to look like "your man", appearance, gestures and intonation pauses in the right places. Dude is seriously prepared :D

@@762x69 for real. This is so true right there. If new world had chilvary 2’s combat, it would be a truly next gen MMO. I am enjoying playing the game but the leveling process is pretty ass, especially post 25. It’s wayyyy too grindy. The animations are super clunky and no animation canceling for dodge/block is unacceptable.
@@midderftw That game he mentioned has action cancelling ya damn casual. Same as dead angle attacks or charging a hit then turning, it baits out responses in addition to avoiding easy parries and gaining opponent information.

i don't understand the "trillion dollars company" thing about new world. i know amazon is a trillion dollar company but amazon games studio certainly wasn't given a trillion dollar budget to make this game. if anything they were underpaid and overworked it's fine to joke and be like wow my guys t posing in this trillion dollar game hahaha but when you use it as a legitimate reason for criticizing a part of the game it seems disingenuous
@@nickpurdy69 and that maybe so. but i would also argue that if the game wasn't hyped up as a trillion dollar game like it was then it would be at the very least meeting people's expectations for a new mmo edit: more to your point you would think amazon is aware of their games studios awful track record with games and would give the new world devs a larger budget, but who knows because they'll probably never release their official budget
This has been the most frustrating thing for me around New World. Your average guy has no idea that there is a huge difference between Amazon and Amazon Game Studios. They share a name and that's about it. The actual overlap between Amazon daily business procedures and AGS is slim to none. It's an extension of Amazon but for all intensive purposes AGS is their own business entity. But what else can you expect for Baldmans omega brain chat.
@@makokenji4350 no reason to be a dick. If anyone is a "dick-head" it's you for immediately popping and being aggressive. And moreover AGS for all intensive purposes is their own company. Agreed these streamers just saying this shit to drive engagement, Im surprised Josh sounds so bitter and negative in this, he's usually better composed. Amazon Games is probably given the littlest amount of money and expected to do the most with it. Not defending them or anything but people need to use their fucking heads instead of just listening to these types of videos and taking it as gospel.
I really don’t understand why everyone is creaming their pants over new world. It’s average. Very average. It looks pretty, and their servers are relatively stable, but that’s it. No story, boring, clunky combat and an empty world.

I predict a resurgence in WoW private servers because it’s obvious that the community can create a version of WoW the community wants without the toxicity of blizzards management.
WoW pirate servers has huge problem - their playerbase. People on reddit are crying about "toxic mythic dps players" on retail, but just imagine the worst toxic keystone pusher, but as a WHOLE COMMUNITY. I played on pirated servers for like 10 years and i can surely say that like 80% of their playerbase is absolutelly brainded narcissistic a-holes without absolutely no shame, who would try to make you feel bad as possible even for a slight mistake you made, and even for things that are not a mistake, but still they think that "Any player should do"
@Dr. Van Nostrand the issue with blizzard on private servers is they don’t really go after private servers and for the most part they stay up. My friend asked multiple gms if it’s against tos to play on a private server and wasnt told no. If a private server is popular like nostalrius though and they just decide they hate it they send their lawyers and demand it shut down because they legally have that power. It’s such a ridiculous mindset to have imo
I think so too. I dabbled with it via a friend's account, and it was fun, but I think it was definitely the "Honeymoon phase" as it really just doesn't seem to have serious longevity in its current form. It's close enough to release to judge by its beta, and without some serious creative additions, it just feels like a a waterd down ESO.
I disagree. I’ve put 100 hours into the beta. There are lots of MMOs I haven’t played that are technically “new” to me. But they just don’t interest me. This is the first time I’ve been excited about an MMO in years, despite the fact there are lots of other games that I could be playing instead.
@@Supernautiloid Agree. I'm at level 32 in beta and having a lot of fun. There's actually a lot to do and plenty of areas to explore. Some people might not like the openness of it. There's less structure than other games in the genre so people don't get that you have to make your own fun in the game, sandbox style. It kind of reminds me of old Ultima Online. I think its a good start and has a lot of room to grow.
@@Ripcraze trying to scale mountains, roll off them afterwards and see if you survive, run in to a high level area by accident and run for your life from mobs that throw kidney stones at you, constant pvp, you can hide in a bush and gank and surprise people, you can take your clothes off and go prone in a fountain and somehow create an infinite ouroboros human centipede circle in the fountain of mostly naked prone men. Pve is okay, fishing is kinda fun too, it's a very nice looking game especially grassland areas so even just standing around is enjoyable in a lot of places. The combat despite only having 6 skills max has a lot of depth to it, with positioning, combos, synergy of weapons, build, animation canceling and so on. It's seemed both fun and fair so far, I died because I sucked and I won because the other guy sucked more.
@@Ripcraze The biggest problem the game has at this time is a lack of content. Nobody denies that. The game is very sandboxy and relies heavily on player-driven activities. Some love that (I do), while some hate it. But the foundation is there. The combat is fun and engaging. The world is beautiful and lush. It can only get better from here. The only way this game can fail is if Amazon fails to support it post launch.
The factions are a huge weak spot of this game imo. They don't feel different enough, it's like there's no 'lore' reason to root for whatever you choose, no drive to further a faction's goals. The whole thing seems so empty and artificial.
True. The pvp missions are just killing mobs and placing stuff too. So, it’s not like you’re required to fight ppl. Just run as fast as you can and run back lmao.
Sure there is, it's so you can control a boring place where your taxes will be lower. The game is literally so far from optimized that it destroys a 3070 in heavily occupied areas. This game is riddled with issues and only a week away from retail release and the company delivering it to us is literal garbage. This game will never be worth shit in my opinion.
Yeah they all just kind of come off as slightly different shades of pretentious asshole. Their reasons for wanting to kill eachother are nebulous and the personality and lore for each is lacking.
@@jamieofalltrades536 its called a brand new AAA game. Ofcourse its hard to run. And guess what a 3070 is only a mid tier graphics card. They arnt top of the line by any means. And i personally am loving the game soo far.
Honestly the game has been a blast so far, I've spent 50+ hours on the beta which is a lot for me since I don't have lots of free time and it went by so fast. I think long term it's not going to do great but at least for 6+ month's post launch it will be really fun.
I've played 100+ hours during this beta and had more fun than years of previous gaming toguether, also there has been a leak of new content already, and that includes 2 weapons, dual daggers and a void gauntlet with a possible new map
Yeah i think long term meh, for a good half a year and above it's gonna be quite a good time to spend on. But it needs qol improvements, it really needs to be worked on a bit longer imo. There's no minimap, the traveling in this game is absolutely atrocious, you are fighting the same 4,5 mobs everywhere in the world, they have no dungeon finder to que up for, you have to basically tell in chat you are looking for a group, the factions in the game have no lore and you don't understand why you choose one over the other, other players can bodyblock you, possibly trap you, you cannot swim and if you fall into deep sea you fall into the bottom. Mind you those are pirates and they cannot swim. lol Like there are many improvements to be made imo, before i can say, okay this is a contender in the mmo market, it definitely needs a bit morr variety in the content too, but the combat is super fun and it's cool it does play like dark souls a bit with the dodging attack and timing it well enough.
TBH i feel the same, eveyone has had a blast. But i think endgame will not be that fun tho. IMO i enjoyed this game because it was refreshing to play something new and because they manage the imersion part of an RPG to perfection. Just walking in the open world and hearing people mine and shoot a musket miles away is kinda sick. Unfortunatley i don't see that feature as something exciting towards endgame, just like any game you will get used to it. Also another thing that makes me mad is the oportunity for skins, like they are a few combination of skins and they don't look that good, trying to make your character look good in mmos is key, just look at GW2 (not that gw2 is the best game but it sure brings a lot to the table in this subject, legendary weapons look sick and make you feel sick)
It’s Amazon. They aren’t a gaming company. They are a corporation. Anything they put out is about the money. That being said, it’s the devs, game director, and crew you look to for the passion. They are the ones who are there because they want to make a good game. Fingers crossed that the CEOs keep their hands off of it and let them make the game they want to make…I won’t hold my breath on that though.
Yep should of kept stagger on hits and stamina cost on attacks, just like it is in dark souls, too bad they listened when people whined about not being able to spam left click and win
Doesn't it have stagger on PvE in some cases or an i tripping? At least, I've been on autotun and stupid wolf bites me and now I'm doing a slow walk again.
Asmongold didnt even play the game, just sat in town waiting for his minions to hand him quest items for the town projects. What a boring streamer, what a boring community.
I guess its just popular to be as negative and whiny as possible nowadays. Half of what this guy said isn't even accurate. The footage shown isn't even from the beta, so I'm not sure why that footage was used instead of more recent gameplay. The game seems fine, and is actually running fairly smoothly relative to most modern MMOs at this stage in their development. Everyone I know who has tried it is excited to play. Of course there's the whole issue of is it going to be P2W with some sort of cash shop boosts. We won't really know that until release. If it is P2W then I can see it being dead within a few months.

Do you absolutely need a story to hold your hand and have fun? This isn't for you. This is a fantastic game for the more hardcore MMO fans that are able to aim. This isn't for casuals.
Faction games that allow them to effect the game always end up one sided. Eventually one will become dominant and it kills the game for everyone else. It's why I have currently been avoiding the game. I see a problem later with it...but who knows, maybe they will make it so it doesn't effect enough to cause damage. Time will tell. I have to say. I haven't encountered bugs really and servers are running great. Not sure if it was a bad overload on the first week. Game feels great to play. Good combat, beautiful environments, serene moments coupled with hectic pvp battles. Not bad at all. We'll see.
So.. what do you want? Do you want every lv 3 boar you fight in this game to feel like a boss fight or like you're fighting some kind of super computer AI? Enemies are just a set pattern of abilities that they throw at you? Ok.. so? How is that any different from 99% of Dark Souls? A game that is praised for it's combat? Do random enemies in FFXIV or WoW "react" when you raise your shield to block? Oh wait you can't even raise your shield to block in those games and even if you could, no they wouldn't and they don't. I don't understand this completely unreasonable high standard you expect from every pve combat scenario. Especially while the combat is way more involved and engaging than any other mmo currently on the market.
This video hurts to watch, this game has come such a long way and is so fun playing with friends participating in wars and open world pvp etc. The combat alone is one of the most fun parts about this game and that is simply because it is actually hard. It does not matter what weapon you use, it is hard to land your shots or actually hit someone making it an actual skill based combat system. Crafting is actually useful and one of the most important parts of the game if you want to make money and make sure your gear is being used to its full potential. There also is animation cancelling ,Josh is just a baboon (sorry I am writing this while watching). What asmon says about npcs not reacting to our combat is true, I agree with that. The game is actually so, so good despite its flaws! It’s definitely unique and able to stand on its own. If they fix and adjust some things it will be excellent, it has loads of potential.

I think I'll give this game a go. Two nerd points though 1: Jeff Bezos doesn't work for Amazon, he's just a founder and shareholder. 1.5: Jeff Bezos going to space is a completely separate company called Blue Origin. 2: Lumberyard is no more, it got rewritten and made open source, it is now called Open 3D Engine. @@welsh_steel2285 Yeah, I'm kind of more in that camp of thought. Like, sure they have endless money, but we don't know how much money & resources were given to these devs for this project. @@welsh_steel2285 Just because they are a trillion dollar company it doesnt mean they will dump it all into this game. One fact you have to understand as a company is that before you decide to get into a project you need to first evaluate the estimated profits the game will give back. So the cost of making the game and keeping the game live can never go over the profits. It seems like people have a hard time grasping this concept when in fact its very simple, no company in the world is ever gonna create a game just to be nice to their customers and fans and willingly loose money on it.
This is probably his worst video imo. Literally every 30 seconds he'd mention something about Jeff or Amazon. Think he should title this video "I don't like Jeff or Amazon" Like I get it. People hate Jeff and Amazon despite using their services and products daily. But at some point he needs to talk more about the game instead of trying to create a diss track on Jeff and Amazon. And it's also like. My crew and I had 0 server issues. So using anecdotal experiences rather than trying to get an aggregate of the situation makes him look dumb af. Also Amazon Game Studios does not equal Amazon. Big surprise but Amazon Game Studios does not have a trillion dollars. This is the dumbest thing anyone could think of. I can't take any of this dude's criticism seriously because he's using nothing but anecdotal evidence and using Amazon being worth a trillion dollars as a red herring. I know he's not this stupid. Amazon does not have a trillion dollars. They are WORTH a trillion dollars. There's a big difference. To be fair I had to stop watching at like 7 mins, cause it was nothing but "I HATE AMAZON AND JEFF". So idk if he does actual critique of the game using more aggregate data and conjecture.
Yeah he really did become annoying because he just kept pointing to those specific things and you are correct they are worth that much doesn’t mean that they have that much there is a difference and unfortunately I think many people don’t understand this
Funny because I didn't see or have any issues the video mentioned or the comments mentioned. I think a lot of people just bash shit to get views. And people forget its a fucking beta aka unfinished product, expect bugs. And no I didn't pay $40 to test their game. I payed $40 for the game earlier than its release date to test their game and give input to make it better.
Honestly whether people want to admit it or are just ignorant, a lot of the bugs mentioned were patched on the actual release build. They don't realize this is literally just the beta build so we don't have access to those fixes
Final fantasy is the most fleshed MMO out there, next to guild wars 2 and then black desert. So when I see New world and the hype around it, I'm baffled. Ashes of creation is the only MMO I can see that offers the market something new and fresh. New world is beautifully basic, at best.

Never saw running like that in the game in the 400 hours of play. Combat is the life blood of any MMO, and it's the weakness of New World. Sometimes I feel like the reason why we haven’t had any good mmorpgs in such a long time is not because the devs or the games, but the players. Do the players really know what they want in an mmorpg? Or do they just want to complain about how flawed everything is nowadays? If the game has a cash shop, they say it’s pay to win. If the game is too grindy, they say it doesn’t respect people’s time. If a game is too hard, they say it’s not for everyone. If a game is too easy, they say it’s not challenging enough. If a game has too many story quests, they want the quests to be award winning. If a game has too few quests, they say it feels empty and doesn’t give people anything to do. If a game allows people to solo, they say it’s not a multiplayer game. If a game promotes team play, they say it’s forcing people to play in a specific way. If the game is lagging, they just assume it’s the server’s fault, not their own internet. Do they remember what the MMORPGs were like back in the days when the MMORPG genre first emerged? Do they remember how much fun they had as long as there was a world where they could play with other people in? There were no quests, only some fantasy worlds with background stories that might as well not exist, some monsters that people could grind for loot and XP. There were no endgame other than getting to the max level and getting the best weapons and armors, leveling alts, maxing out alts, leveling more alts. But didn’t we all have fun and weren’t we content with what we had at a certain point? So what changed? What do we really want? What matters more to us, the players, in an mmorpg? The game? Or the people? Again, what changed?
I completely agree. I have been saying the same thing for years. People think WoW sucks, but every time a new mmorpg comes out, everyone just wants it to be like WoW. Teleporting to dungeons suck apparently, but in a game where there is no teleporting to dungeons, people think it takes way to long to run there, and like you pointed out, it "doesn't respect people's time" and so on. You are spot on sir.
I just dont understand. He was just level 9 and review the game and compare it to FFXIV, ESO, GW2? he didn't even look at crafting or anything yet at all, not even a single war yet. That's just embarrassing.
Well most of the problems he mentioned here have been fixed or atleast addressed in the open beta. Definitely looking like Amazon actually care about the game.
Every mob in every mmo is just a script that follows a set pattern of attacks. It's not exclusive to New World. Mobs in WoW? Set pattern of attacks. Mobs in ESO? Set pattern of attacks. Mobs in FF14? Set pattern of attacks. Why is this utterly garbage in New World according to Josh and Asmon, but not in other mmo's?
what do you want alligator to do? no, really, what do you want it to do? you want alligator to stand up on its back legs, pull out a knife and shank you? it's just a fuckin animal. ppl complaining that mobs in MMO's just stand there and have 2-3 attacks. what do you want? for every mob have unique attack patterns and animations and abilities so you have to 1v1 them for 3 minutes? with blocks, parries, backstabs and dodges? combat system might remind you of dark souls, but this is not dark souls. its an MMO, where mobs exist just so you can kill them for quests, exp or loot. playing this game after wow, where mobs just stand there and do auto-attack is so refreshing and enjoyable, but ppl still complain, and I can't understand it.
As an Amazon employee I have been testing this game since alpha :). The company does supply keys to employees that sign up for the testing program ( Most don't know it exists). I'm not sure how they disperse them but I have gotten keys to this game, lost ark and most of the other amazon titles :). Don't trash amazon too hard! I will agree there are many things that need fixing AI, combat/animations, add more variety in items and their appearances. Great beta though let's see what they do with th feedback as that is the most important thing, how they take criticism
to be fair some of the biggest gripes from the dude who made the video are already fixed. had zero problem with animations and lag during the closed beta
What it this weird running animation glitch shown in every clip of New World? This glitch literally never happened to me or any of my friends in over 200 hours played. This guy is literally just trying to make a tabloidesque hit piece it seems. Shame. Criticize the game for it's actual faults. Don't make shit up.
The main thing that is bothering me is „the game is made by a trillion dollar company“.. it actually is not, yes the Amazon Gaming Studios are a Daughter Company of Amazon, yet still have their own budget, which is actually not that much :) I agree with most of the other things tho, I hope they move release further back and focus more on AI and Stability
This. This is why I gave New World a hard pass. It is overall uninspiring and mundane. It lacks creativity and ingenuity. HOWEVER, it is fair for a "base game", I guess.
this video & critics happen when only want views , or subs, more likes i thing this its good for you, but no for the rest of the people (And now I help you with puting a coment on your video ... congrats )
complaining about server issues during a beta is like complaining a guy that is learning to cook cant make every french dessert also complaining about the npcs not having a tell but then also complaining that you can easily predict what the npcs are gonna be attacking like is also kinda dumb furthermore stability issues are not necessarily capacity issues, there can be specific memory check errors during certain loads that are enough to crash the entire server
I feel like there's a problem where every aspect of this game screams "Cheap Early Access multiplayer game with crafting elements on Steam." that was flooding the market 6 or so years ago
Except they have the decency NOT to be in early access like the other scumbags and you can get your money back and also make a decision from beta access.
Albion Online is best crafting focused and Heavy PvP and also territory controll there are 400 players fighting feels so cool game with quite good PvE. I haven't tried new world....
I'm hoping they incorporate more aspects like Albion online cuz so far it's both a hit and miss. I wish they had the weapon system albion had with branching paths for each weapon rather than the boring same 3 abilities and passives but with each tier just adding a gem slot or a random passive for it.
He gave it too much credit lol. The gathering was cool. Leveling up each weapon by using it is cool (even if there is ridiculous weapon imbalances) The actual gameplay was trash. Combat felt like it was created for a mobile game and then glued into a PC game.
@@reynaldodejesuscarrasquill4137 but it is clunky, and janky, because I've played games that are way better in animations/combat feel (bdo for one). The game looked slightly tedious as well with the amount of people just chopping would in this game lol
@@reynaldodejesuscarrasquill4137 see the difference in tastes in life? even ff 14 is better in my opinion and that's tab target. you can enjoy this game with the initial rush of people that play it and it will be very obscure 8 months or so after launch if that. i'll try to remember this post to come back to it lol
@@xAngoryx how are you gonna even attempt to form an opinion on a game you haven't played? you literally just said it "looks" clunky and janky. At least with this game you don't just put it on auto and let it run in the background. Plus how are you gonna compare this to FFXIV when that game's been out for years? of course it's gonna look better in all aspects. You look like a clown with this comment
It would have been cool to see what that Lord of the Rings mmo would have been like. I mean the other one is kind of dated now. It would have also been cool because it would have coincided with Amazon's new 300 million dollar a season Lord of the Rings show they're making
ESO doesn't have minimap (unless you use mod for it) and I actually think it is better that way. Less distraction and you cant see shit on minimaps anyway.
But ESO, or the elder scrolls games overall does have a minimap, though it's a very special variant. the compass like bar is considered a type of mini map since it shows you quest locations and so on.
It'll get better like all MMO's. However, I'm grateful for these videos, because they serve as a word of caution to prospective consumers. This game, in its current state, is not worth my sub. However, I will keep an eye on it to see if that changes over time.
@@hesiod6168 you're right, but it won't get a purchase from me, either (in this state). Again, I'll keep an eye on it to see if that changes over time.
these guys are full of shit. this game has been the most fun I've had playing a game in a really long time, and the developers are actually listening to their community and making changes for the better. I am super excited for release, and I for one will be enjoying every second.
That feel when the only real complaint in the video is about server performance and some minor bugs in a BETA. They had 200k peak concurrent players as well so server issues were expected and they've already identified and fixed problems that were causing instability. Being a trillion dollar company doesn't automatically fix every technical issue in the world, and even if they could just throw money at it to fix it (which wasn't the case here) the game still has to be financially viable so them being a trillion dollar company doesn't mean they can spend trillions on the game. I personally didn't really experience any server instability and to my knowledge almost all server instability issues have been resolved for the most part. I also think he's underselling the combat a bit considering he's judging it at low level, with no abilities, against PvE mobs which are always boringly easy in every game. PvE is never hard, PvP is where combat shines and in this game the PvP combat is spectacular. Given the fact that those are his two main complaints, and one is has been fixed while the other is subjective and possibly fixed by him just leveling up and accessing more abilities, I don't think calling the game "slightly above average" is a justifiable rating. New World is easily one of the best MMOs to release in the last decade and it looks to have a very bright future. It's at least a 7-8 out of 10 right now and hopefully will continue to get better after launch.
@@matthewmammothswine4395 not really. This is a beta build. They have a release build they have patched for release. It's not a hard concept to grasp. People just don't like to look anything up
@@matthewmammothswine4395 the complaints about server stability is the main thing I’m talking about here. Like they literally said it was a stress test. When you stress test your CPU when overclocking you push it to the max. That’s what they were doing with their servers. It’s like complaining that your computer crashed when you were testing an overclock, like fucking duh.
who cares about how much you played asmon. all you do is quit the game after getting carried. I will give you this game maybe 3 to 5 months tops when it comes out. so you review about this game won't even matter lmao
Doesn’t seem to bad, needs a tad polish and few things but not bad. Anyone play wow/ other mmos knows the mobs just get aoed down anyway at least this is interesting. I’ll buy it and mess with it, nothing could be as bad as EAs shit show with Iron man sim.
right? I can take an opinion if this game were played with a sub but its' not only cheaper to buy outright than a new game releasing tomorrow but it also doesn't require a subscription to play it and you can get a refund if you don't like it
Yeah honestly, it has lots of potential, and Asmongold is a fool. Every game has bugs and glitches early on. It’d be best to focus on legitimate issues with the game. And walking bugs aren’t one of them. Stopped watching his low IQ video at that point. It’s an unconstructive waste of time.
Asmon video on this is going to drop like a bomb. He clearly like New World way way way more then he does FF14 but Amazon Studios is not running it right and the MMO has no actual direction. It is too late because if they add more pve then the pvp'rs will rage and vice versa. Amazon Studios has wasted more then a year of dev time trying to appeal to everyone instead of trying to distinguish this MMO from others on the market. New World does tell me just how low the bar is for WoW players who are overlooking some serious flaws so desperate for an MMO that has pvp in it.
Honestly what they should have done if they were looking for a game like this is hopped on Albion online. It's basically what this game is trying to do but came out years ago
@@Gu3ssWhatsN3XT My guess is when the pve crowd gets to end game after grinding to 60 and lighting up the forums about the insanely boring grind is blow through the pve content in a matter of hours then bitch until their lungs burn on the forums. Pvp crowd is going to realize very quickly how powerful governors are and you practically have to worship them and never get on their bad side to do the actual fun content in this MMO which is the war system.
at this point you might as well stick to ff14 or go back to WoW. you dont want any new stuff but those old af mechanics. as if those games also didnt have crappy betas.
for sure get to 60 in 200 hours cuz you are helped by your fans with mats and so on so you lvl up with town projects xD ... or you found out about lvling exploit xD
The beta was one of the best I have ever played. This game is so much damn fun. Just in time to because I went over to Final Fantasy and already speeding past the damn dialog because it is so over kill. Final Fantasy just wasn't doing it for me and I was jumping back and forth between WoW and FF. The New World comes along. Excellent. This is it for me.
