Maybe he feels discouraged because his Lost Ark content usually isn't very popular unless it's shitting on the game. Like "LOST ARK IS P2W?!?!" "LOST ARK RUINED?? DUNGEON NERFS!" and so on. Basically they won't really reach much above 100k views unless it's some drama or outrage farming.
@@abouttime2569 I'm not sure that's it, so much as it is just legacy WoW viewers. His views are down across the board, but his WoW content still gets 250k at the very least still. His XIV content generally didn't get too many views either, but Lost Ark is particularly low. It's just been sort of a trend to piss all over the game, and Asmon himself has done a fair bit of that too, even though he enjoys it. That will probably do some significant damage to the momentum it might have had.
@@saulghim2661 If you look at the hate comments, the vast majority are comments that were written based on one dimensional thinking. They don't even know how to debate properly and are very stubborn as well. So even if they can't form a logical response in the debate, they think their opinions are in the right. Those people keep clicking on the new Lost Ark video and post the exact same illogical comments trying to hate on Lost Ark. Doesn't matter if they lost the previous debate or not. That is one of the main reasons why those particular Lost Ark videos got a lot of views since low IQ people don't know how to form a logically sound opinion + being stubborn.
Lost ark raids really respect our time. The option to restart fights whenever you want and instant respawn locations at the bosses are just great. Losing somebody to a disconnect just sucks though.
The option to end the dungeon by voting is one of the worst I've ever seen in any multiplayer game. It reminds me of the option to vote to concede in League of Retards

@MangerzArt the thing is he didn’t figure anything out. He had a chat of 60k people telling him what to do every step of the way lol. Every single abyssal dungeon content he has done since tier 1 he’s been dead on the boss deaths lol always getting carried it’s funny to watch. Regular people dont get carried the way this dude does.
This game is a damn gem, the creativity is just beyond what I could imagine. My wife is a freaking OP Sorceress and I love it as she destroys shit while I shield up and destroy shit but holding aggro on my Artillerist. I am just at 510 Gearscore, and just reached the left side of map, I am still discovering content and enjoying dungeons. This is endgame done right, and to think there is more to come for NA. Ridiculous!
@@DuvalRypr You get a lot of freebies. I was 1340 and left the game. Than i came back with the upgrade event and now i have a 1415 with 2x 1375. You get % upp chances for your alts and a lot of materials on your main. Also the events give a lot of additional stuff. You have a lot to do in the game and the raids and stuff just makes fun.
29:05 "wow i made a mistake i messed up a mechanic whilst there were 15 other mechanics going on who gives a F"- but when its WoW and you were running raids if people mess up you boot them and replace them instantly. There is a such a strange difference in your mindset when playing WoW vs this and other games. Sure youre a veteran at WoW and new to this but it doesnt stop you from looking up the mechanics before you do the raid.
I agree, if he was joining random lobbies without knowing anything then it would be toxic but he created this lobby and had twitch viewers who knew what they were signing up for join so its not that bad. What I dont get is players joining lobbies that say KNOW MECH then proceed to mess up everything and force me to spend 10 minutes explaining everything
I'm looking forward to this type of content I'd love it if you post the full gameplay of him like this in the future, since in his channel he only posts the highlights ones these days unlike the beginning of LA where there's 4 hours of full gameplays

Where you can write that you want to learn mechanics and add All plyers that WANT to learn it with you ... not everyone wants to go to raid and spend 2hours on simple raid dungeon that can be finished in 15 minutes .
Yeah most people were 1000+ ilvl but they were below 1060. Also it wasn't that easy of a carry as it seems, they wiped for like 2 hours on the last boss and even on the others they wiped at least 3 times each.
@@randomfeg4141 only less than 1060? Looks to me than more than one there were t3 already. Ilvl doesnt really matter that much though, you either do the wipe mech or fail, and its much more harder if a few die on the last one to stagger and destroy the ball.
This was so much fun to watch. I did this raid and we wiped a lot more times than you all did =) Eventually won. But I liked being able to see the raid when not actually doing it. Really enjoyed this video.
@Iván Martinez You are too stupid to even know what happened. The freeze attack aoe effect was blocked out by the other attack effects and then he got stunlocked. This isnt some learn the mechanics shit.
@@fbiagent6456 dude, raids in WOW are nothing in comparison to this, so it's normal that people like Asmon are having trouble with something like the O2 bar
@@P4PKing You can do any of the raids as a tier 3 as I just did most of mine today before the weekly reset. Now once you get past a certain margin you stop receiving gold and some certain rewards from them. Pretty much all the t1 raids arnt worth for me to do cause they dont give me alot of the rewards but the underwater ones do and up

i'm in love with the aesthetics of this raid series. i just hit tier 1 though so i can't wait to continue progressing and experience these later. the underwater music and looks are just awesome to me though
Wish I could get carried through the entire abyss lol I dont think he was alive during the boss kill a single time.. -_- Had to teach the team I completed this with, after fail teaching at least 20 different teams >_
Can you play this game with a controller? I'm a console player and suck ass with mouse and keyboard and that's what's holding me back from playing this
It indeed would be nice if he did some research on mechanics before going in. That will not only calm the plebs in the chat screaming about him being stupid when not doing mechanics and being carried but also will set a good example as this is how everyone should approach going into dungeon that is mechanically based.
I disagree. What ever happened to learning a fight by actually doing the fight? I really dislike this new gaming mentality that everyone should know everything before even doing it once. What kind of gameplay is that? This is the main cause of so much toxicity these days. If I have to watch RU-vid videos as a prerequisite before doing anything ingame then that is bad game design.
@@XxSliphxX I've participated in day one raid attempts/clears in multiple games where we go in a full group of people who don't know anything about mechanics besides what the devs have found appropriate to release as information so I understand the fun of going and learning. There is difference here though, this is not a new dungeon, he is surrounded by people overgeared and well versed in the mechanics of this dungeon and he is not making attempt to learn. This video of his vod clearing (getting hard carried by Vivaldi the tier 3 god) is just pure garbage gameplay and the only interesting thing was seeing his reaction to the cutscenes and beauty of the dungeons in this awesome game. Do you know that large player base is just monkeys who want to roll their face on the keyboard? There is a reason we are getting nerf to alot of challenges in the upcoming patch. Because people do not try to observe and learn. I much rather have the mentality to watch/read a guide before you dive in. My experience in this game has been as you wanted it, I went in blind into dungeons and usually it either was a failure or we had someone who has done it or has seen guide and would tell us in chat about mechanics and then we would proceed to clear. I don't think this is "going in blind" because I literally have someone in group being a guide. I personally don't think you've experienced a real blind dungeon attempt tbh, I've been there many times and it gets old especially with games like lost ark where mechanics are cray. Also in-game during fight when a mechanic happens there's a popup text with info about it so technically you have guide spoiling your fun of finding out how to do it kekw

@Dcr Croix not always, sometimes boss skill set is known on release and then someone smart makes a guide how to approach the fight, but yes often someone clears and makes a video of it. One thing that I'm not sure why you're saying is that this is not theft lmaoo the person making the guide puts it out with the intention of it being seen and help people. Ive done guides on encounters and have been a teacher to newbies in dungeons, I don't get upset when they learn I get satisfaction lol.
I've played this game for 150 hours since February 11th and only just now got to this point. I also wonder who figured out all these boss mechanics O_O
People talking about streamer privilege since asmon clearly got carried. Like, why would you want that? It's wayyyy more satisfying when you learn and practice the boss yourself and finally beat it. Asmongold probably just gets carried so the stream doesn't become boring and repetitive
I wish Asmon could experince the real difficult of those raids, not exactly with dumdum people but, in need to learn the mechanics and not just hack n slash the whole process.
