In Vietnam, we are proud of these people, they do massages and massages for only 2 dollars, but they are very quality and refreshing. Especially this is a job mostly for the blind, so it's very meaningful. I'm from Hanoi, Vietnam and I'm not good at Vietnamese, I use google translate
I'm probably going to be thought of as slightly odd, but I find the traffic noise more comforting than much of the 'relaxing' music often played during massages. Gives a sense of realism somehow.

This man doesnt do that job only for living, but for helping each other. Highest respect. In my city palu Indonesia, we paid about 4 dollar but we only got the massage for half hour. From the video, i believe this man do it for more than 1 hour. Any people who use this man service, for humanity, please you should have pay more.:)

I am Vietnamese, and this is really what it is. He is not working out that way, is just didnt work. People just find someone else doing exact the same with 2$ when this guy open a place and raise to 5$ for rent fee. And he will soon back to street, bcs is free. And more likely to get more pay. Cause a lot of Vietnamese massage place is hidden prostitution service.
I dont know if he has proper training or whatsoever, or just learn from someone or some videos. But I'm amazed by this kind of person who always finds a way to make honest and good money. I bet the natural background street noice makes it relaxing to have a massage there.
the sad part is the reason its for $2. He is taking in consideration of the labour workers who need the relaxing massage after a days work and even if you tip him he'll feel uneasy for it

30-40 dollars in Vietnam is like a weeks worth of salary. If you live in the US that would be like getting tipped a hundred dollar bill for o oh half an hour of a massage. Not that the guy would be mad about it or anything...
Are street massages like this common there? If so that's an awesome recognition of the importance of relaxation on everyday health, to have it so readily available and utilized. I'm from Canada and this is sadly not well spread knowledge.
I was recommended these $2 Vietnamese Street Message-themed videos a couple months ago... yet, I occasionally find myself coming back to these... the _unending clamor_ of the immediate neighboring traffic, combined with the quiet 'clacking' noises of the 'impact' massage, and the subtle clinking, as well popping sounds of cupping, pre- as well end-session, has seeded itself into an *absolute* secluded part of my physical-, as well psychological senses, as "relaxation" and I have not explanation of why... Well done!

idk why but this gives me some sort of realization that were all human, and our bodies need some sort of treatment. were all so similiar when it comes to things like this. love it, hes an amazing person i bet.

@@deebow6486 Thats to assume he gets a customer every hour for 9 hours, without break, and everyday for a month. Doesn't sound very feasible does it. I think you need to consider more factors before coming to a conclusion.
