If you go to a running store and get your gait analyzed they can fit you for the proper shoe for your foot! If you heel strike and over pronate/supinate then you might need a higher support shoe! My gait was considered neutral and I got the ASICS gel cumulus (they’re classed as a neutral shoe) and I love them so so much! They also have a lot of cushion so thats also something to think about- do you want super high cushion or maybe not so much!

I did go to a running store and I have a neutral gait! but they didn’t tell me my strike pattern, I dont know if they can.. but I might get my walking analyzed again. My feet seem to be difficult 😔. I could give the Gel Cumulus a try but my feet did not like the ASIC Nimbus (I was so sad bc I love the design.). Those were very cushioned too, so maybe a firm show might be the way? I guess finding the right shoes will be a process for me. 😪 nice to hear from someone familiar with running shoes though! I don’t even run, but I want good walking shoes.
