ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response which is a biological reaction that some people may experience when they hear, see or feel certain satisfying triggers such as whispering, tapping, brushing or typing. It is best known for causing tingly sensations, relaxation and comfortable feelings.
Because of this, many people use ASMR as a way to help relax and soothe their minds and bodies before falling asleep. It can be used for meditation, and sound therapy and is a natural sleep aid. I watch ASMR every night to fall asleep - and several times throughout the day as a part of my self-care practice to keep my body, mind & spirit healthy and balanced.

The in game music is so nostalgic and comforting, I used to fall asleep playing these games all the time, I never wanted to stop playing them as a kid. Though primitive in today's gaming standards, there was something so special about these games, they were filled with such wonder. Makes me want go replay them.

In Spain we pronounce Guillermo like “Gi” (like Gible), then the “ller” is pronounced like “yer” (but our “r” is a little stronger) and “mo”, so it would be like saying Giyermo. So I’d say you’ve pronounce it pretty well!!! The “r” is a sound you don’t really have in English, so it’s really hard for you to pronounce (like for example the “r” in German is really difficult to pronounce for us Spaniers 🥲). Oh! And the “e” is a little closer than the “e” you would pronounce after an “y” in English (so it’s not “yer” with an open “e” but a close one). I’d say it’s a very hard word to pronounce in Spanish!!! 😱

I never had a 3DS, but one of the Kingdom Hearts series of games was on that (Dream Drop Distance). I'm currently on my railroad kick. Railway Empire 1 and 2 on PS4/PS5, and the old PC game Railroad Tycoon 3. And also on PC, playing IL2 Sturmovik. Specifically, the Battle of Normandy and Bodenplatte (German for "Baseplate", or "Groundplate" depending on translation). I don't actually fly. I just set it to autopilot.

Yes, I wasn't expecting another Pokemon Crystal playthrough video so soon, I'm really enjoying this series! Also do you have a 3ds capture card by any chance? It would allow you to record clear footage directly but I believe they're generally expensive unfortunately.

Your Guillermo pronunciation was excellent! Just FYI though, the Spanish "ll" isn't quite silent, it's more like the English "y" in "yes".. It just so happens that it seems borderline silent in Guillermo 😊

I have this theory about the Pokemon that it's really a tool to teach children how to analyze their social interactions. It's mainly about conversation, though. The different elements that govern the different Pokemon in their classes (such as Earth and Electric types), is an expression of the nature of these interactions. For example, the Earth type is about intimidation to get one's way, and the Electric type is about inspiration, and revolution. I suspect this is used to teach children to be aware of the intent of others, innocent or not, because a lot of children are dearly naive and it's so easy to take advantage of them. I think women instinctively like Pokemon because their skill with rhetoric is naturally stronger and drives their curiosity in the game as consequence.

This was my first pokemon game, I still remember the day my dad gave it to me as a present when he came back from being in Iraq. I was more happy about the game than him coming back home. He started making fun of me because of it, good times.

@@RainessaASMR yeah, lots of people is complaining about graphics and "too-easiness" of newest game, I still found them very enjoyable and some of the features they introduced are pure gold (i.e., experience for every pokemon in the team, YAY). My adventure is slowly going on, I just won the league for the first time! Time to go to Kanto
