On the other hand, a flower is still beautiful in a picture, even if you cannot smell it. You can still appreciate the sound of foreign music as well, even if you don't understand the lyrics. I think the same can apply to ASMR, perhaps.

Smiley Trashbag Look at these 2 words (China): 中國 (traditional Chinese) / 中国 (simplified Chinese). Do you see that the first words have more lines in them? That shit is traditional. We learn the Chinese that was used longgggg ago and mainlanders use the "kinda modernized" simplified Chinese. However, if you can understand traditional then you might understand simplified Chinese too. Both Chinese have different pronunciations though they mostly have the same meanings. Search it up to understand it more deeply. 😂

How do you even read mandarin? I'm learning korean and there's only (If I'm remembering right?) About 48 characters, 2-4 per stack in cvc (consonant, vowel, consonant) ordering (Like 한국, meaning Korea. Or 안녕하세요, meaning hello). But with languages like mandarin and japanese, I don't know where to start because there's so many symbols and combinations... Even Korean baffles me, because I have no idea how words are made ;-; The thought of trying to take on Japanese or Mandarin makes me tired XD

With japanese, start with hiragana and katakana. You can spell any japanese words with hiragana, while you can use katakana with the loan words. After learning the 2 kana, you can no proceed to learning Kanji,which is similar to chinese characters( this one is not as easy as hira and kata >< )

Korean Hangeul is a lot more consistently phonetic than the Latin alphabet used for English, so it's actually easier in that respect.

The sheer amount of time she must have devoted to practicing this is absolutely astonishing. ....... I did an art project where I also used my knowledge of Japanese and basically made up a short legend about a dragon and illustrated it using (very, /very/ badly) the Sumi-e technique. ...... Trying to make my kanji and kana look like someone even /slightly/ talented with calligraphy made me want to rip my own head off. So basically the whole thing was just a trainwreck.

You can just tell howmuch time and effort went onto creating all of your asmr, this one is another masterpiece, Chinese writing is very difficult but you manage to make it look so effortless, beautifull.
