The kickass comics are so good! Better than the films imo.

Just watched going to bed, and I loved it! I agree about the Ralph Snart comic. I had a bunch of those but I sold them because I didn't think they were very funny either. But it made super relaxing page turning sounds! The Charming tissue comic was a parody of a commercial that was really popular in the '70's wherein these customers would squeeze Charmin paper towels because they liked the softness and Mr. Whipple would have to keep telling them "Don't squeeze the Charmin!" The guy on the front cover was David Carradine who starred in a popular TV show in the '70's called Kung Fu and the little guy was Crazy's mascot, the Nebbish, and he was on most of the covers. Crazy was Marvel's (Stan Lee's) humor magazine. I had so much fun watching this before bed, and it was really relaxing and fun! Also, I didn't know there was a Romeo and Juliet comic! Hey Prim, it was very cool & kind of you to do this video for Tom for his birthday and I'm sure it really made his day. :) I didn't know there was ever any Beatles comics made, but as they say; "You learn something new everyday." Speaking of rock band comics, Prim, have you ever seen/read any of the KISS: Psycho Circus comics by Image Comics from the late 1990's/early 2000's? Very cool series, I still have the first 5 issues in mint condition (there was 31 issues in all). Is the old Incredible Hulk show you're referring to the live action TV series from the late 70's/early 80's with Bill Bixby as David Banner and Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk? I love that show, it was before my time but I used to watch reruns of it on the Sci-Fi Channel as a kid. I own the show's pilot movie on DVD as well as the 3 reunion movies; The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988), The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (1989) & The Death of the Incredible Hulk (1990). Bixby & Ferrigno were awesome! I'm quite sure the guy with the "Bruce Lee Fan Club" shirt on the Crazy Magazine cover is supposed to be a parody of David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine from the 70's TV series 'Kung Fu'. Anyway, this was another wonderful video and I particularly got great tingles from the little bit of tapping you started doing on the Betty & Veronica comic at around the 8:42 mark! You're always nice to listen to and the page turning was a good way to wrap this video up. Thanks as always, Prim! :)

"I love the Hulk!" Lol I'm pretty sure your father did have a lot of fun looking at your reactions when you were watching Hulk on TV at the age of 4 or 5... I used to watch this series myself and quite enjoyed it. As for the next story to listen to, I would personally love to hear you read Romeo and Juliet, since I've never read it in English, which could be considered as a crime with an author of the caliber of William Shakespeare. And the illustrations inside look really promising, indeed. But any other comic book of your collection would do. It's also quite funny to never know in advance which appearence you'll have in your upcoming videos. I wouldn't have expected to see you with a blue wig this time, that gives you kind of a futuristic look, maybe like the character of Animah in the Incal saga, although I think your hair cut is a bit longer than hers and your blue color is more saturated, which looks equally fine to me. Thank you again for all this passion you put in your videos! I'm gona finish watching this one before the end of the week. Have a great day!
