I could listen to you for hours and hours. Your videos, your lifestreams, everything. I love your storytelling. It makes me feel like I'm there with you I just remembered the "eye contact game" my dad wanted to play. It went like this: you had to stare into the others eye and the first one to look away lost. I didn't like it. Yours is much better. It's not you against me and I'm the one who looses every time

meanwhile when I was a kid my dad loved scaring me, I remember walking home from the park with my dad one day when a really bad thunderstorm started and all he could say was "we better run home fast otherwise we might get hit by lightning!" and I was terrified 😩

This helped me alot, every time it starts storming i get scared for the worst happening. And sense my dads gone i think it got worse. I used too find storms comforting but not anymore.

This is exactly what I need in my life! I'm not scared of thunderstorms per say, just the flashes of lightning caused my body and brain to go weird (not seizures). I always have to hide during them so I don't suffer. Thank you so much! Now I know what to watch during them.

Dude my dad was an emotionally unavailable POS asswipe when i was growing up so this is incredibly soothing to my inner child. I caught myself just feeling and reacting to this like such a toddler. I was hanging on your every word and absolutely fiending for the attention you were giving me and I was absolutely satisfied. I cant thank you enough for this.

This is embarrassing to admit but I, 21M, cried like 5 times during the whole thing lol. It's just that I kept thinking why did god think I didn't deserve the type of dad that can comfort me like this. It's all too late now to patch things up because we barely talk anymore but hopefully I'll find a guy that can make me feel safe like this. Thanks so much for the video

the eye contact game really reads to me as like, something to help an autistic kid be able to meet some social expectations, but like, in a kind and understanding way. like, usually it’s a daunting, uncomfortable task, but as a challenge for a little game, that you can get praised for when you succeed? that feels like a good way to teach something like that.

Oh man...ok I have very real thunderstorm induced ptsd from when the roof over an amusement park ride fell on me and trapped me under there for a hot second during a very fast moving microburst. Talk about wrong place wrong time. I basically need the adult version with some kind of very loud but soothing background noise to drown out the storm. I unfortunately can no longer run and hide because I can't leave my kids unattended. The only time I can't deal is during an active thunderstorm or extremely heavy rain. I don't know if I make sense. This has been a 20 year battle that I can't win. Not even the professionals help.

I'm also here to say that I'm so sorry that you're struggling. There's plenty of free help and resources out there to help (I know therapy is expensive). There are also techniques that you can use when you feel like you want to self harm. Maybe take a break on the dad videos if that triggers you to self harm. I don't understand that kind of pain, and I don't pretend to. Just please know that there is help out there, and that your life is valuable, just like the rest of ours. I'm sending you a huge virtual hug.

I caught my dad cheating on my mom a lot and sometimes he cusses at me. A few weeks ago he even told me that it wouldn't hurt to stop eating for a day or two just because I didn't want to eat with him. I have autism and have an attachment to my stuffed animals and he would always threatened to burn them if I didn't do something and he would grab them and throw them on the ground and will call my interests stupid. I feel like God honestly sends these videos to me to help me feel better.

The correct way to love a soft toy is to imagine them as alive, just like the toy story movies, so it's very important that they look like lively and realistic, and not a weird knitty thing
