After living in Phoenix, AZ for years, (I lived in Miami, FL and Houston, TX prior to this), I finally got horrible heatstroke/sun poisoning. It happened a lot faster than I thought it could and it hit me all of a sudden. I was so dehydrated that they couldn’t find any veins for an IV at the hospital and all I could do was shiver and dry heave at that point. They finally got a vein in my shoulder and they had to use an ultrasound. The whole ordeal was one of the most unpleasant and painful experiences I’ve endured. I think surgical pain was easier to manage! The bone pain that you end up with after such a massive inflammatory response is indescribable. All I could do was lay in bed and moan for days. Long story short, SPF is my bestie now, I always carry water and electrolyte powder packets, and I have vowed to never wear dark clothes in the summer ever again. I’m so sensitive to the sun now that I get hives and joint pain if I’m outside for even as little as 30 minutes. Let this serve as a warning: unprotected sun exposure is life threatening! You will never be the same after getting heatstroke and you will always be more susceptible to it afterwards. Stay safe this summer!!

Great job, Nic! Heatsickness/Heatstroke is fairly common here in Florida and can happen fairly quickly. Until I moved here, I didn’t even realize it was possible to get sunburned *under* my clothes.

Doctor Nichola to the rescue and not just to look after my Sunburn/Heatstroke, but to help me to relax this evening. This had a wonderful warmth about it and along with the gentle care that was delivered was so uplifting, erasing the hassles of the day. To accompany this feel-good vibe was the sound and visual experience that treated my visual and auditory senses perfectly! Loved the steady note writing, the sound was a perfect trigger for my ASMR, however stand out trigger stimuli for me had to be the light trigger and the glove sounds. Any light trigger engages my ASMR so well and the simple, yet effective pupillary/follow the light test was perfect. The sound of the gloves too was so satisfying to take in during the initial skin examination, but especially when the creams and moisturiser were applied the skin, both sound experiences sent my senses tingling nicely. I appreciate the time you put into creating your roleplays, they are always a pleasure to watch. This one has helped set the tone for a good night’s sleep for me, something which has been lacking a little of late. Enjoy the rest of the week. 🙂🌠
