As someone who just had their wedding, ABBA is fantastic for a wedding. I would mix in the classic hits with a few songs that you just like to dance to personally. Not every song is going to be enjoyed by everyone, but you should never put on a song that you yourself dislike.

There are a few songs I would dance to normally at big family parties but I assume it could be applied to a wedding setting because it always makes people dance. Some of these are in Spanish but I feel like the beat and vibe is felt universally. 1. Dancing Queen by ABBA 2. Tren Al Sur by Los Prisioneros 3. Oye Mi Amor by Maná 4. Devuélveme a Mi Chica by Hombres G Not sure how it would be received but these songs came out between 1970s-1990s and are forever classics. Hope you can take a listen and hopefully it puts you in a dancing mood. Nevertheless, I’m glad I tried helping because it helped me remember these classics 😆

Hey Glow! You mentioned recommended songs to play to dance for your wedding, and when you mentioned “not knowing music of today” it’s honestly fine 😂 there’s a lot of garbage in my opinion for pop music, so if you’re looking for pop music I’d recommend 2000s and maybe some 2010s There’s stuff you can’t go wrong with like Michael Jackson but if you’re looking for band that’s aren’t well known worldwide, look up McFly, they’re my favourite band of all time and they make rock music! They got a bunch of albums and they took a break for a while but they got back together again and they still make my personal favourite music 🤘🤘🤘 so that’s my recommendation Also Selena Gomez made some of my favourite songs in the 2000s and a few in early 2010s 👍

High Voltage (just don’t use video from this track. It would be too much 😂) 3.Also if most guests will be boomers you need to look for some tracks from 70-80 era. Tons of decent music there. Van Halen, Led Zeppelin etc… Just be sure you like it too))

Try Postmodern Jukebox, I think you'll love it. They make vintage covers of pop music. For example they covered the song for the Friends TV show together with the original artists, one of their best music videos and a good showcase for what they do. Don't Stop Believin is another of their best productions, the entire music video was done in one take, no cuts. Even if you don't use any of their music, I'm sure you're going to find a couple songs you'll like to just listen to.
