Stacy I so enjoyed this video! We had very similar taste in reading at that age , and those books definitely made me the person I am today . This video was so nostalgic and comforting , definitely going to fall asleep to this one many times . I'm so looking forward to the rest of the series . 🥰
I’m not an American I’m from Europe and I remember reading the book about Heidi. It’s a very international book. There is also a childrens movie on netflix from 2015 😊
I was not a reader in elementary (just read all of Harry Potter) but all of these sound so interesting the way you describe them! Where were these books when I was younger?! 😂 I loved the page turning 💕
Ahhhh! This took me way back! We would’ve been elementary and middle school book besties. 🥰 Samantha was my favorite American Girl, but I also loved Kirsten and Molly. I completely forgot that they went through the seasons! LEMONY SNICKET. I remember reading those when I was supposed to be working on my 8th grade history assignments. AND PRINCESS DIARIESSSSS. I read those first three books 8000000x in 8th grade. Michael Moscovitz held my 13-year-old heart. I agree that those three were supreme. Michael graduates after those and it’s just not the same without him at school with her. Moulin Rouge has been my favorite movie since high school. ARE WE THE SAME PERSON? I, too, went through the Twilight phase. 😂 I had Team Edward as part of my AIM profile. 💀 I even went to see Stephenie Meyer when she came to my local bookstore when Eclipse came out. I was one of maybe 75 people there. 😂

Ella Enchanted is one of my faves!!!!! I think I've gone back to this book at least a dozen times!!!! Gail Carson Levine also has other stories which I loved! Shannon Hale's books are also fantastic!!!
I love how you cherish all your books you owned growing up Stacy!! Unfortunately I wasn’t a big reader growing up in the 70s and 80s. The author that does come to mind from “back in the day” is Judy Blume. I particularly remember her book “Are you there god it’s me Margaret”. Oh by the way…….my daughter also LOVES the show “Once apon a time.” She has the whole series on DVD that she watches over and over again.

James Patterson not being able to write that many books is impossible! I worked at a bookstore for a while and he has so many ghost writers. People will write it for him and he slaps his name on it to make sure it sells well. He’s not writing 90% of those books lol

I watched/listened to your journal video last night. That was really good, but I couldn't go to sleep until literally 2 seconds after you said "I hope that this was relaxing for you" (or something like that) because I was so interested in all the different journals.
