Hi Herbie Fam! I had a bunch of leftover icing from my carrot cake video so I simply had to (just had to!) make another cake. Hope you enjoy! Also, my dear friend Madison Mukbang was recently featured in a mukbang documentary (link below) - yay! I'd love it if you could check it out, share it and show her some love. Thanks, Herbies! ~Mukbang documentary: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m1QbZTkXI7o.html ~Madison's channel: ru-vid.com/show-UC6DR3hG0tHxLt1v9XPOw6TQ
Hi ! I'm a French girl who has become vegan only a few weeks ago. Thanks to your videos, I'm very reassured to see all the good food that I can taste and discover ! It's very relaxing to listen to you eat. Your videos are great !
Vicky! This was my first time trying red velvet cake, believe it or not. I remember the strawberry shortcake you had in one of your videos and that one had me drooling. 😋 Nah, Mr. H. does not have a strong sweet tooth like me (except for carrot cake which is his fave). But! It doesn't stop him from scoffing down desserts/sweets when I make them, haha. 💕
Yea I find most men don’t like sweets as much as women. I can’t believe this was your first time having red velvet cake. Looks goods though. I love all cakes. Lol but strawberry shortcake is my fave, you should do a molten lava cake. That’s my second fave. 😋😬
Thank you so much! It is very tasty, and I try to make an effort to present beautiful foods. Which is very easy with plant foods because they're so colorful and pretty. ;)
Look at you, little miss cake pusher, haha. That sounds wonderful! I do love shredded coconut. In fact, I will be having some in my chocolate nice cream video that comes out the day after tomorrow! 💕
Mmmmmmmm.... I loooooooove red velvet cake!! Its also my favourite!! That taste sooooo delicious and creamy cake!! Loooks soooo gooood!! Great dish!! Enjoy your red velvet cake and see u anytime!! :)
OMG I LOVE THESE!! Keep doing them ♡ I've been thinking for a long time about becoming vegan, and I really don't like meat but I'm only 14 and I cant really buy my own things, I talked to my mom about it but she isint really caring about what I wanna be so... any suggestions ?
Raven Check out Taira and her eldest daughter Jean, she's 13. Also try meatless mondays and swapping butter for sunflower spread, it costs the same and tastes the same but without the saturated fat and the cows getting abused. That's how I got started.
Raven ask your mum to cook the meat seperatly, sweet n sour or curry or bolognaise or stew whatever you want just without meat. That would be a good start, it all helps. Try showing your mum what the health or cowspiracy.
Raven Thank you, Raven! I am not a parent so I'm not quite sure the right advice/approach to give you, but here goes... First and foremost, let your mom know what your reasoning behind wanting to eat a vegan diet is. Let her know why it is important to you. Secondly, let her know that you won't just be eating vegetables (unfortunately most people, probably including your mom, think vegans only have salad or lettuce to eat). Let her know you will be getting your protein and energy from beans, lentils, tofu, wholegrains and complex carbohydrates/starches. If your mom is concerned about nutrition you can point her in the direction of these vegan registered dieticians' websites: www.theveganrd.com/ and jacknorrisrd.com/ Thirdly, show her examples of happy, healthy and thriving vegan families/children. These are such channels: ~Nina and Randa: ru-vid.comfeatured (these teenage twins have been vegan their whole lives!) ~Family Fizz: ru-vid.comfeatured ~Family Freedom: ru-vid.comfeatured ~Taira's Family: ru-vid.com/show-UCbMTPpgXzGQ80bdoMM9wl0Afeatured ~That Vegan Mom: ru-vid.com/show-UC76RjmepqqU50CsgGtscwAAfeatured Lastly, there are a whole lot of great, existing RU-vid videos on this very subject (how to approach your parents) which you can refer to for even more tips. I'd highly recommend you watch some of those videos. Just search 'How to get my parents to let me go vegan'. Hopefully your mom will listen, understand your point of view and at least give it a go. If she is not receptive, then unfortunately you will have to wait until you are old enough to get a job or move out and buy your own food items. You can always be vegan in your heart, though. And you can do your best to reduce your consumption of animal products where possible. Best of luck. 💕💕💕
Hungry Herbivore ASMR that's an amazing answer and I would add that bite size vegan has a range of family friendly videos and also check out the movie what the health.
Actually, this was my first time trying it. From my understanding, the base is like chocolate (it has cocoa powder in it), but you put food dye in it to make it red. It should also have a buttermilk taste to it. And the icing is traditionally cream cheese. I hope that's correct! 💕
Sis! I have ice cream cake on my list of videos to film one day. I'll have to make it myself though because there are no vegan ones where I live. I'll probably do it next month. xoxo
Thank you! Yes! I noticed that as well, but thought it may have just been in my head. Anyhow, I just checked my audio programme and I've somehow lowered the recording volume to 70% instead of 100%. Fixed now for future videos. :)
Thank you! :) What do you mean unreal? I am really drinking (and that's the sound my microphone is picking up), why would I fake that? (If that's what you mean?)
Hungry Herbivore ASMR I didn't mean it was fake and I don't think ppl would fake drinking water, if its even possible. I meant you where doing it to perfectly. Sorry if i offended you 🙁 💖
No you didn't offend me at all. :) That's why I asked, because I wasn't sure if that's what you meant, hehe. It's hard to detect tone on the internet sometimes. All good! 💕💕💕
Thanks for your feedback! May I ask what in particular you are referring to? If you are referring to all the cuts - I cannot help that as the cuts are made to eliminate background noises (cars, neighbours, planes, kids, birds, me burping/coughing/sneezing) that would be most unpleasant if left in the video.
Yes.. That is exactly what i was referring too. Its almost as if the video were skipping or something. Still love your videos tho and loved your blooper video as well. Sending love from Iowa.
Lori FloresRU-vid Thank you! :) Ah, okay! Yep. Until I get some proper lighting and can start filming in the evening I have to deal with all those unpleasant noises which have to be cut out of the video. :( Sometimes it's not so bad, but there are some days where the noise is non-stop and I have to cut heaps from the video. Makes me want to pull my hair out when the noise is going on while filming, haha.
