@@theredrydergaming6703it’s actually pronounced *shadu *or (shadow) similar to how Gaol is pronounced Jail. Fromsoft does a lot of this in their games. I do agree though, Scadu is quite a goofy thing

Elden Ring did such a good job with the map. It’s got such an unusual shape, it’s not just a big circle or rectangle like most games. Makes things exciting as you reveal more and more of it during a play through

The density, yet massive map of elden ring has so much, it actually convinces you that it's not enough, you just want and endless beautiful land forever but the map is an island after all.

Nah it's more than enough, in fact it's way too big for it's own good. The later areas aren't that great, they clearly ran out of development time and had to rush them. You could cut out a third of the content in the game and it would be an improvement.

@@EllaKarhuhonestly the worst part is that the best area gets replaced by one of the worst, leyndell might be one of the greatest pieces of level design by fromsoft, but the ashen capital is just bland and empty, it would genuinely be better if they kept the same area and just added some effect over it

This game already blew me away with its art design and beauty. Then, you get that beautiful view from up top the ramparts looking down on the city of Leyndell. At that point I was just absolutely flabbergasted I couldn't believe what I was seeing. great video!

the timing! i just finished the game yesterday, very excited for this video! edit: excitement was not misplaced :) very nice video, the map turned out really well! somewhat sad to miss out on the underground areas, those are beautiful too (though i do support the ommission) but perhaps an idea for a follow-up video ;)

Don't get discouraged by the negative comments, you drew this map a month after release without having played the game and with limited knowledge. I pray to the fromsoft Gods every day that they got DLC islands hiding in all the open water on the map, and that we get this Crazy sailing mechanic. Elden ring likes to pull from mythology a lot it seems so seeing crazy stuff like krakens, storm giants, Charybdis and Scylla would be nuts.. Never gonna happen, but I'm just a lowly Tarnished with a Jar cannon and a Dream 🤷‍♂️

You should try doing a map of one of the Just Cause games, personally I think it would be a good video. I think Just Cause 3 would be a good choice if you were to actually do it, there are three islands so it would take a while.
