ASMR | face shaving 

Mine never grew back thicker and my dermatologist told me that many women shave their face. Actually I've done it for so long that my hair barely grows back at all on my face.

That’s because the whole hair growing back darker thing is actually a huge myth. Even google it (there’s no truth behind it)

That old wives tale kills me. I have PCOS, if anyone was going to have hair grow back thicker it would be me! Will it be pricklier for a while? Yeah, but it isn’t going to grow bushier. Geez Louise. If hair grew back thicker from shaving it, every person with thinning head hair would shave their hair off and solve the balding crisis!

Just make sure to get the Ordinary glycolic acid toner. For some reason , when one shaves like this , especially their face, Zits are soon to follow.

@AbsolutelyAbbieASMR It will be fine! When I do mine I use Triple paste rash cream, like a shave gel -and a fresh facial razor, The one by tweezer man because you can replace the blades. Then I wash my face and use the toner right after. If you notice zits, just get some panoxyl

same thing happened to me, ig sucks. goes from the blonde baby hairs to more wirey brown hair. it’s like what happens when you shave your legs, armpits, etc :/

Think about it…if hair grew back thicker from shaving it, every dude with thinning head hair would shave their head and get luscious locks! The only issue is, hair grows out of our skin in a tapered shape. When you shave it off, it grows out with a blunt cut end and it gives a scratchier feeling. Too, the tapered tip of the hair (like our eyelashes) is a little skinnier. I shave my face fairly regularly. Now I even use a scalpel! My facial hair has not grown in thicker or darker.

That is absolutely an old myth and not backed scientifically at all ❤ It can sometimes give the *appearance* of slightly thicker and feel of courser due to the end of it being blunter from shaving, and going back from clear to hairy will add more to the illusion. Cutting hair can not biologically change how hair grows at all ❤ However, hormones do. If you've had sudden change in hair growth, it's hormonal.
