isnt it crazy how by the time you were just born (and not even in the same country as me) I was already 9 yrs old and likelyhood of me ever knowing about your existance was so tiny....but thanks to the power of the i-net here you are - my favourite ASMRtist
Don't worry about getting a little older, your 30s are when you finally have things a little figured out and you stop caring as much what anyone thinks and it's great! Also great job recognizing the patterns of thinking from your early life and trying to be conscious of it for yourself and your future kids. I was NOT that wise at 27 haha
Thanks for sharing your stories. I feel the same being in my 30's and seeing younger people. Though I feel more maternal than jealous. Also get ready for everyone to ask about babies, like you're their business 24/7. I hated it so much. You do for you, fr.
It’s honestly nice to have the perspective that aging brings. Insecurities can get the best of us. Just take care of your mental and physical health, and getting older won’t be so unpleasant. Ps. Your final look is lovely!
I know, right?? I always plan to, especially when rewatching my favorites, but they're always so good I can't do it!! They're so tingly, they just set the mood 🥰
I loved hearing you talk about age and how it feels to grow older and the perspective changes and all that. This has been something on my mind recently as well and it was strangely calming having you touch on the topic! It's such a human thing that is usually never talked about in a positive light
I am 36 and yes, you are right ...aging is a weird experience! Trust me though, I loved my 20s but my 30s are wonderful as well. It comes with a whole new territory ❤❤
Oh my goodness Erin, I can’t even begin to describe how much I relate to your words about aging. As someone who’s turning 27 very soon and is also making content here on RU-vid, it feels like you’re being met with an expectation (most of the time from what you tell yourself) to look quite airbrushed and flawless, especially in front of the camera. This year I’ve started to notice my skin turning less elastic, it’s just not how it used to be even as little as a year ago. It’s so refreshing hearing your words about what 27 brings and that you’re going through a similar shift in your perception of aging.✨
I love these kinds of videos where you do makeup and talk about your thoughts and feelings on kind of deeper subjects, I feel so seen, it's like hey I'm not the only person who feels this way 🫂 "what am I, a child bride?" 😂
I always love the glimmer and shimmer!! And I'm the same way, I HATE jump-scares but my partner is obsessed with horror and haunted houses. Thank you for the wonderful video!!! 💛💛💛
It does make me a little sad that people aren’t as accepting of skin that looks like skin. Blemishes and wrinkles are very normal and just as beautiful. I mean, even as a 22 year old woman, I’ve caught myself worrying about aging/Stressing over my skin. Which is CRAZY because-as you said, we are so young, and these standards aren’t always obtainable. I have to keep reminding myself that it’s alright to not have glass skin. I have to remind myself that it’s okay to fluctuate between weights. Aging IS a privilege. It’s natural. It’s human. Anyways, Everything you said was super validating. I kept thinking, “Yes!! That’s exactly how I’ve been feeling!” Thank you
I’m at the airport waiting for my flight and literally said to my husband “it would be so perfect if GoodnightMoon posted a video”, decided to check just in case and now my night is going to be AMAZING!!!! Thank you, Erin!!!!
I've missed these 'Get ready with me' / Makeup Tutorial videos with some ramblings, one of my all time favorites as someone who knows nothing about makeup
No “should” statements 😤 we all do life our own way 🌸 I’m on the latter end of 28 and I appreciate the genuine musings so much 😊 I hope you were able to overcome your fear of character actors!
I am huge fan of your roleplay videos and all the imaginative and fantastical content you put out, but I also appreciate those videos, where we get glimpses into your thoughts and your life. :) I know you don't share too much of your private life, which is absolutely understandable, but as I am a person of similar age and interests like you, I really enjoy hearing you talking about your views on life or even some things you've been enjoying through show and tells and so on..thank you for that❤
I love your eyeshadow! Somehow over the years I’ve come to do it very similarly. Im usually not the biggest glitter fan but eyeshadow just can’t live without it xD
Did we have the same mom? I'm sorry you had to grow up hearing that from your mom. It's a tough cycle to break. Hang in there and be kind and compassionate with yourself. 🧡😘🧡
I would pay the wonderful Miss Erin to do makeup for me, especially with the Halloween 🎃 season coming up!?! You are a gift and a joy to everyone here!!!!! 🤩
To me skin imperfections aren't flaws, they are features. The people who really care about you will come to love every spot and winkle because they make you more you. Every mark only serves to add to your own unique definition of beauty that on one else could ever compare too.
You're in the "wow that person that's 5 years younger than me is so lucky to be that young!" stage. I'm in the "Lord of the rings movie was 20 years ago!?!?!" stage.
12:19 I think I'm with you in that other people tend to scare me for some reason, I think because I can't predict what they'll do. Whereas with a Rollercoaster or a thrill ride it's like either I'll survive or I won't, either I'm having the time of my life or having the time of my life for 5 seconds as I fly off the Rollercoaster 😂
I went to Halloween horror nights a few weeks ago and A Quiet Place was my absolute favorite. The house was amazing scare wise and Ghostbusters won for the most nostalgic. Tell us what your favorite was! Hope you have fun and thank you for the videos, you’re amazing!
Also, don't worry about having kids too soon for you. I didn't have my first child until a couple months after i turned 30. You've got plenty of time!❤
Have a wonderful upcoming Halloween Erin, October is a special month for me my birthday is on the 14th. I always enjoy your videos and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.💗🐈💗🐈⬛💗
I feel exactly the same!! It's like you read my mind about aging and I'm also only 27!! But honestly, you are gorgeous I always thought of how beautiful and young you look😍💗 Let's not let our insecurities get the best of us😘
Age definitely brings experience and perspective you can't have when you're younger. Understanding things academically only takes you so far. Decades become shorter. Enjoy the now as much as possible.
Never been quite this early! Looking forward to watching this! Addendum: I do not enjoy being scared, but I do enjoy roller coasters. I'm with you on that one!
Hi Guys, 69 here. Enjoy your 30s & 40s. It’s all downhill after that! 😳 But I’m still lovin’ life, keeping active (ish) and seein’ the world. Just the body that’s objecting. Mentally, I’m still 30
Completely unrelated to the video but “I had to see my opponent whip out the rubber ducky” has been added to my verbal stim collection now. Thanks for that one, sponsored ad Erin.
I got super excited at first because im going to Orlando tomorrow to go to universal studios FL but then you said LA 😭 I hope you have a good time there
the unfortunate truth is that as you age, you don't necessarily feel older, you feel like the young people are younger, it's come up a few times in conversation on the bus lately as I approach my mid 30s
I am definitely like your boyfriend when it comes to haunted houses vs. rollercoasters. I have heard WAY TOO MANY tragic horror stories about rollercoaster accidents to ever feel safe riding one (even if i didn't get motion sickness). Haunted houses i can get out of whenever i want to, but I'm usually fine with them.
as someone approaching 40 in a couple of years let me just say... you're a baby! lol (you're not, but being 27 looks quite appealing from here. I guess it's just the cycle of life)
