Mary back when I was a child, we used metallic beads on our Christmas tree. When I read Little House books it stated they used to string popcorn and decorate the tree, and ginger bread cookies. I would use all those beautifully colored bead necklaces and make garland for a Christmas tree. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mary, Just wanted to mention since your last thrift video said you are selling on eBay some again that vintage hair accessory lots can sell decent on eBay. Even simple Goody barrettes from the 90s sell decently. For example, a 4 pack (that was new in pack) of mock tortoise shell stay-tight clasp barrettes from 80s or 90s just sold in May for $150. Just fun and kinda surprising and I’m not sure if it’s something people already know about or not.
The leprechaun ring reminded me of Carl, I don't know why, but, I can see him wearing it after his mother told him that his great aunt's husband's father was Irish, so Carl now feels that's exotic enough to put a ring on. 😂

I also don't care about expensive or brand stuff, I mostly care if it's pretty and how much I like it. I once went to dinner with a guy and he mentioned he could not wear something if it didn't have a brand, and I'm the opposite so in my head I was like "check, please...", it turned out to be one of those dates from hell anyway 😂 I tend to dislike really expensive stuff because I am a jewellery smith by professional training and I did an internship at a luxury brand, and I was really disappointed to learn that they paid most of their workers minimum wage, plus they even applied for a kind of government funds that usually would be granted to help struggling smaller businesses. Rich people are the stingiest, the more they have the less they give!
