It's just a harness that holds my camera strapped to my body. Then otherwise, the viewpoint you see at the end of this video during the grocery haul, I just have the camera set up on a microphone stand close to the table and I just do everything in front of the camera. No magic tricks. 😀👍🏻
I always find your shopping videos so incredibly relaxing and comforting and also it's nice to visit places with you. One of my mental health conditions is agoraphobia and i don't get out much right now so it's fun to see new places on asmr videos, i already feel like I'm missing a lot so these videos give me some kind of connection to the outside world.❤ thankyou for all the brilliant videos and time you give to us. I believe that everyone should feel appreciated and valued 💐
@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction I have them delivered off Amazon groceries or Deliveroo. I don't tend to need a big shop so get a small shop as and when needed. I miss my freedom and independence terribly but I have health professionals working with me to try and improve things. My next goal is to attend a craft course which has been set up for people with wellbeing issues.
I would imagine that for many people shopping is often considered a chore, however you make it a wonderful experience Rebecca! 😋 All the crinkles, soft spoken words describing your products, the pretty bags that you put your shopping in, and the lovely colors, displays in the supermarket make is so special. Never fear about filming anything in Cali, the youngsters (and older folks) film in public so so very often whether it’s pranks or tiktok dances, skits, and what have you! Nobody will think twice about a kind looking person grocery shopping 😊 But honestly even if that is the case, I’d still be a little self conscious. If you have independently owned ranch markets in your area of California, those are the cheapest for fruits and vegetables and nuts. I went to them constantly when I lived in Los Angeles. They're also the best for produce and freshest.

Welcome to CA! Hope your liking it here so far. As for grocery prices, keep trying different stores if possible. You’ll find they can vary dramatically in pricing for the same items. I tend to shop at different grocery stores different weeks depending on what I need (thankfully we have many options where I live). Good luck!

I love your videos. Susanville Supermarket Is probably like shopping at Vons, Albertsons, and Ralphs grocery stores, they're all expensive. My mother loves San Luis Sourdough Bread also.
IGA's are great! We have one up in Bluefield Va when we're visiting there. It's called Grant's IGA.... and they do an amazing job! Susanville Ca. looks like a beautiful town.❤
Ohh this brings me so much joy seeing my old home. I miss it too much! I would advise that grocery outlet is good for the fruit, but Safeway is franchise so their selection is cheaper also iga is good for meat deals but there’s a butcher that has local meats… Iga is expensive though.

I used to feel very self-conscious about it. I would say that I've only gotten strange looks every now and then. Most people just glance at you and then continue on. I think maybe the public is getting used to seeing people filming everything with their cell phones these days.
It's so exciting to see a new grocery store with you! I shop at trader Joe's every week and I love getting my food there, especially their salads are so delicious. Big hugs!

Near Chico. My ex husband and I used to travel all over northern California. Reno was a regular stop.

I realized that we need to shop at affordable stores. Here are some that I shop all the time and you can get shopping less than other stores that are fancy. 1. 99cent store, 2. Food Maxx, 3. Walmart. I know its just you and your husband but getting food in Bulk saves you a lot of money. I hope this helps. FYI the store you went too there is one by me, however its four hours away from me. I hope that we can meet some time.
It's so weird but for some reason I always thought the weather in California was humid. Maybe it was because of the Ocean and since I live near the sea as well and it's humid almost all the time, l thought it would be the same there too. Now i feel stupid 😅😅😅
Don't feel bad. If you have never been here, you wouldn't necessarily know. At certain times of the year it can be humid on the north west coast. Sometimes. Mostly, California is a desert of sorts.

I live in Montreal and the food prices in grocery stores are pretty much the same here. Walmart is a tad cheaper. We have those same brand of pistachios and they are also $4.99. I envy my friend in NC who shops at Aldi - fab prices. I miss the pre-pandemic grocery prices.
We have high prices here too in the UK, grocery shopping just became scary. I loved wandering ( in my mind 😂) with you listening to those crinkly bags 😂🥰
Yeah, but our prices are no where near as expensive as some of the ones in the video (even after conversion), and we do have the option of budget-friendly supermarkets too

Does Susanville have a Walmart? Groceries have gotten so expensive that I now shop Walmarts Great Value brands. They are more affordable. Such good sounds today😄

And i enjoy watching the products and the prices 😮you see, im from Argentina 🇦🇷, and because of the inflation we have, 1 dollar is equal to 800 pesos argentinos, which is insane. If i travel there it will be very expensive for me, but if you visit Argentina you probably be millionare here 😢😂

I wanted to share that unfortunately there is a way to lock your keys in a car that uses a fob. I sometimes lock my car door by pressing the lock button on the door itself as I'm getting ready to close it (especially if my battery on my fob is low and I'm not somewhere I can change it). Anyway if you lock the door by this method and then accidentally drop your keys inside the car (not knowing it) then close the door... the keys can become locked in the car. Been there done that unfortunately.
Oh no! What a bummer that happened to you! This car is 2023 so they have found a way around the problem you mentioned. I have tried over and over again to lock it with the door while keys were still inside and it won't work. On top of that, they have rigged the computer so that the car honks at you twice if you leave your keys in the car! 😂😂 isn't that a riot?!
Does your car put it in actual park or is it auto start/stop? If so, you should be able to turn that setting off. Maybe RU-vid it or look at your manual 😊
We have a button for auto start/stop. You bet my husband uses that! 😂 He hates the engine to shut off. This car will actually revert to Park all by itself! Crazy.
I guess I missed the announcement of moving out west. I don't get it. Everything out that way is BAD. From the prices of everything to crime. West coasters are moving EAST to get away from it all !

Yes they do, Nina! I tried to do a video at dollar tree. For a few different reasons I was unable to get it done. It saddens me because I am may not be able to film at this particular store. Don't want to badmouth anybody but....🤷🏻♀️ Anyway, I do have a Halloween type video coming up in a couple of weeks.
