Danish accents are hard, imo, but that "relax" at 0:54 sounds *exactly* like him. A good friend of mine is Danish and I can't hear Mads Mikkelsen talk without doing a double take.

Unpopular opinion: Mads as Hannibal > Hopkins as Hannibal. Also you nailed his accent, not just the accent but the way he speaks. You’d be a fantastic voice actor (and actor in general!). Amazing video as always!
Both are brilliant in their own ways. I think it’s almost impossible to try and compare the two because of how different the movies are vs the show. I love them both so much.

Mads has an IMPOSSIBLE accent to replicate honestly, but there are several parts of this were I was VERY impressed at your pronunciation! Incredibly well done. This is, far and away, my favorite show of all time, I've seen it more times over than I care to admit, and I think you captured him perfectly.

I was diagnosed with severe longterm clinical depression when I was 5 years old. I'm 34 now and have been in my relationship for 5 years. I'm as happy as I'm going to get for now but it took a long time to get here. A long time of believing whole heartedly that I had no purpose and that I was a drain on everyone else around me. The truth is you do deserve to be here and be happy. No one that matters wants to see you go away. It takes time but believe me it does get clearer and so easier to handle. It took me years to find out what I want to do (fish and small animal rescue) And I never would've known if my mom hadn't impulsively bought goldfish that I spent months taking care of (too small a tank means way more water changes. As in, every day) they got sick and I had to euthanize them (they were dying when we noticed because I had the tank covered to kill algae) Now I have a tank with a betta in it, and a guppy/snail tank. I've researched every small animal pet you can have down to hermit crabs and chinchillas so I can give advice to people and know what to do if I get stuck with one I want to buy them from bad owners, help them heal, and rehome them to people that know what they're doing or keep them(literally just what GoHerping's channel is about, but he only does reptiles, which are also abused a lot) Would i make a lot of money from that? Hell no. But it's something I'm passionate about doing so that makes it worth it. I have a job at McDonalds right now and I HATE IT. I can't handle hectic job environments, I have severe anxiety and have to take a sedative pill before i go, meaning I'm drowsy while working. I do not recommend working there if you have any form of anxiety(given, mine's so bad that I had to be given sedatives. I can only take two a week and not two days in a row. The rest of the time I'm an anxious mess) I never even considered having pet fish until my mom did that. Before that I was extremely depressed and suicidal. Now I have Thanatophobia(extreme fear of dying) it's pretty ironic tbh. Still depressed, just not suicidal, the opposite, really. Just try different things and you'll probably find something you'd love doing. I love educating people on animals because I made HUGE mistakes before. I had a 4 gallon tank full of fish that needed over 80 gallons. I had a bird that never left his cage or got played with, I had a hamster in a tiny cage by an air vent, I had a rabbit in a 20 gallon tank with np mental stimulation, my baby leopard gecko died because we didnt have the right heating. And my betta was an impulse buy(birthday present) and he got finrot because of that. Hes still recovering. I was able to help my aunts two year old betta go from a vase to a 5 gallon tank because she said he wasnt moving around as much (depressed and probably sick, but no sickness I know just makes them lethargic) i haven't heard about him since but I assume he's way happier or he died (they live about 3-5 years) If I can stop people from making my mistakes then that's all I need. There's someone near me posting decorated vases with bettas in them and cheap fish food that a betta shouldn't even know exists trying to sell it for $50. But she MAKES the vases, so I'd only be supporting her business so she can buy more and get more bettas. It hurts me that i cant help them, she wont listen to any advice. If you can figure out something you're passionate about then do it. I'll obviously still need to work (hopefully as a cashier somewhere and not McDonald's, I have a shift later and I'm already done with it. I cant handle fast paced work) but my mom isn't In a rush to kick me out as soon as I turn 18(she'll miss the pets but we agreed they go with me. Both cats have separation anxiety with me and she can't handle fish) so meh. Sorry about the rant, hopefully it was a little inspirational and I don't sound like I'm insane😂 I barely got any sleep so this probably sounds weird oof

Wow. Mads Mikkelsen is one of my favorites, and you’ve got him spot on. Creepy, sexy, and everything in between. But. Kidneys in a skillet??? Kidneys are a humble ingredient, but when served with figs they become a delicate treat. Elevate them, a beautifully plated dish would be better.😁
