ASMR How to Say Thank You in Many Languages

It's the season of thanks and I want to say thank you to as many of you as I can in as many ways as I can. Please teach us how to say thank you in your language in the comments!
Small update:
I'm awfully sorry it has taken this long to get out new content. I have been dealing with some little health problems this past month and it's been tough to get a video completed. So my apologies for being so disheveled in this one and for the low humming traffic sounds. I honestly would have redone the video to make it more polished, but I'm just not quite up to it at the moment. I am on the upswing and should be back with regular videos next week, so please don't worry!
Oh, and I'm woefully behind on emails, but for those who asked: I am incandescently happy for Nico Rosberg and his family. What a season!

In Maori, the native language for New Zealand, it's Kia Ora. Kia Ora also means hello, goodbye, and you're welcome. If you're in New Zealand and don't know what to say, say Kia Ora and you'll be fine.

*American Sign Language*: Put your dominant hand flatly to your chin, the fingers should be right under your lips. You then move your hand forward and slightly downward, in the direction of the person you're thanking. Like blowing a kiss. To say "thank you very much" you repeat the movement using both hands. Hope you feel better soon. Happy holidays!
@RookieRider17

AbsurdExistentialist pst it's just called "sign language" you're doing that annoying thing by claiming it to be a strictly American thing. just saying buddy
@AbsurdExistentialist
@AbsurdExistentialist 7 лет назад
Sign language isn't universal. There's a Cuban sign language, a Korean sign language, Russian sign language, etc. Since so many people from around the world watch Springbok's videos, I'm specifying that this is the American sign language way to say "thank you".
@RookieRider17
@RookieRider17 7 лет назад
AbsurdExistentialist hang on... *looks on google*... oh ok I stand corrected I thought there was only one sign language, don't see why there's so many other. I suppose it's like the differences between regular languages. What a weird society we live in.
@AbsurdExistentialist
@AbsurdExistentialist 7 лет назад
Well like you said... sign language isn't just an American thing... ;) Yeah a lot of people don't realize that, much like hearing people from all parts of the world, the deaf community has its own culture. The way of saying "water" in ASL, for example, is by making the letter "W" with your hand and tapping it against your chin. So it makes sense that in Japanese sign language there's a different way of saying "water". Even in various parts inside the USA each deaf community has it's own "dialect". The deaf community in Los Angeles has its own "slang" and unique way of expressing certain concepts different to, say, the deaf community in Boston. They even give each other (and also hearing people) nicknames. Like oral languages, sign language is constantly evolving. With each new generation arrive new expressions. It's a beautiful language, I encourage anyone reading this to get acquainted with the deaf community in their city. Hope this helps!

In german sign language it's the same :) as far as I know, words like "thank you", "please" and so on are mostly the same (in DGS, which is the german sign language and ASL at least). I think the alphabet is also the same. I found that to be quite interesting when I first learned about sign language
