People like “Vera” and Crazy Lady are why I don’t answer the door unless I’m expecting someone and the most contact I’ve had with my neighbors is a wave and a smile. Those women need to mind their own business. I don’t have the time or the give-a-crap to mix organic lawn remedies. I wish I could live on 100 acres with my house right in the middle. Maybe put in a moat.

omg the part where you explained how people in stores always think that you work there regardless of how you're dressed was so funny to me because the exact same thing used to happen to me a lot! i remember this one particular time that i was at michael's shopping for halloween decor and a man came up to me and asked if i worked there...even though i was wearing an oversized black hoodie??

I think the colour of the MG you've described is probably British Racing Green, lovely shade. NB, over here we tend to paint the house name or number on our wheelie bins (trash cans) which avoids the danger of attacks from "crazy ladies !" :^)
