I personally prefer dark backgrounds way more just because they help me sleep. When the background is bright I find it extremely difficult to relax and drift away.

@@anditsreyna020 I was just referring to something that she said around the end of the video, I didn't mean that I couldn't sleep during this one. She said something about someone complaining about the dark background and that she will try new backgrounds with visual triggers and stimulation so I stated my personal preference. And about what you said, as long as this is an asmr video I can sleep to this one as well if I turn the screen of my phone upside down but I prefer to watch till I fall asleep. I enjoyed the video and watched it till the end but if the background was dark I definitely would have fallen asleep.

hey sarah, i commented a while back about my eating disorder and recovering from that and it’s been a rough little bit of time. Long story short, I’ve been eating more, almost a normal healthy amount but I get very anxious about food and my brain is obsessed with calories and numbers and calculations. I try to keep myself busy but I spend hours a day counting and recounting the calories in all the foods I’ve eaten or plan to eat. It’s exhausting and I try not to but my brain slips back into the habit. I keep deleting and redownloading myfitnesspal because I know I’m not really recovering if I’m counting my calories but I get so anxious and start to overestimate how much I’ve eaten if I don’t have a specific number to look at. Every meal and snack is a struggle regardless of if i’m counting or not. A couple months ago I asked about a picnic with a friend video to help people struggling like me who are struggling with eating disorders/eating anxiety, and you said you’d be willing to do it but never did. I don’t mean to nag or be annoying but it would really mean a lot to me if you made that video. Especially if you could include specific affirmations and conversations related to eating disorders. I have been struggling real badly here lately. My boyfriend of two years and I broke up two days ago. I'm trying to stay focused on my school work and actual work. I had a hell of a day, momma and family. My hubby had his first dentist appointment in literally 2 decades and he was seriously stressing out for no reason. And it turned out better than we expected yet he is always skeptical and paranoid about EVERYTHING which stresses me out. And on top of that, one of our dogs hasn't been feeling well and I had to take her to the vet today to get medicine. Hopefully it helps and that always stresses both of us. But I have to keep him calm while taking care of everything else. These videos really help me decompress and relax. All the positive comments help, too. You have no idea how much I love this. i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do. i just found out my moms cancer came back after 2 years cancer free and it is now metastatic and has spread throughout half of her body. i keep going into almost panic attack mode and having to calm myself down and watching your videos is helping me to focus less on that and relax otherwise i think i would just break down. so thank you sarah for always being here, even when you think youre not affecting your supporters, you are helping all of us in ways you cannot imagine. ❤️

Today I had an anxiety attack ... I couldn’t stop crying, I was so scared, my younger sister saw me and she started crying too. Literally one of the reasons you are my favorite asmr youtuber is because of how your videos are casual but personal. I find comfort in just listening to your stories and about how your day was. Karuna, I too have Boarderline, addiction, anxiety on top of bipolar. I want to say I am very proud of you! I love how you toned it down for your family and have a dream but don't push it to the limits to dahe relationships. I watch you every night, usually watching replays and waiting on new videos. You make me feel safe, loved and comfortable. If I have anxiety, you are my go to remedy! I enjoy a little Gibi every now and again, but I am faithful to you! Hey Karuna, I just wanted to say thank u for ur channel, and to let u know how much ur videos help. I recently lost three close family members. Two since January, my uncle and my grandmother, and then my cousin in July. Ur channel has really been helping me sleep. But more than that, ur channel has been helping alleviate my anxiety, which has gotten worse since January when I lost my uncle, whom I was very close with. I’m so glad to hear that ur doing well! Hey Karuna!💙 Thank you so much for the content! It's been helping me out so much lately. I'm a sixteen year old student and my home life has been awful. My dad left when I was young and my mom hasn't been a good provider. I go through life feeling so stressed and depressed. I get so anxious sometimes I can't even sleep. But your asmr has been so helpful in getting me to calm down. It's even reduced my feelings of anger and hopelessness. Thank you again for allowing me to be apart of your family. I am struggling with acne and self confidence issue to the point that when ever I’m out of the house I’m on full alert, avoiding mirrors, looking down all the time, avoiding the light coz it might expose the scars. It sucks. And I don’t know what to do with it. I don’t have money to buy stuff to cure it- whatever I just need to vent out. Thank you, Mom. You made every day better. Ily 💖

I'm in my 50s. But I'll never forget our homecoming queen who had acne and was a beautiful girl because of her confidence and intelligence. She was so motivational. And I watch vids of people with disabil8ties of missing limbs etc and have confidence thru the roof. I guess its all perspective. Enjoy ur youth no matter what. 💕

mom!! thank you for another great video. my grandmother has diabetes and had to have yet another surgery today. she had a 30% chance of survival and i had one of the worst weeks of my life worrying that i’d never see her again. i live far away from her and wasn’t able to be there for her. she is okay now and is in the hospital. thank you so much for these videos you make. they truly change my life and make me feel so comfortable. i love you and your channel so much. ❤️

I have to take a second and say truly thank you Karuna for unknowingly helping me through a rough rough time. This passed Sunday the 24th my younger brother lost his fight to brain cancer at the age of 24 and it’s broken me down really bad... then even more a good friend of mine has been found murdered two days ago at the age of 21 and I honestly haven’t even processed that at all yet I feel because I’m just so numb from everything with my brother but your videos have been helping me in the quiet moments just laying in bed trying to get to sleep. Laying here in my head going over everything makes me physically hurt so much and then I put on one of your videos and zen out or just focus on your voice and relax until I’m able to sleep which has been the best because I just don’t feel anything or worry or think in circles then so I just wanted to say thank you for just putting yourself out there to unknowingly help others. And please don’t be down on how you look cause honestly I think you’re so dang pretty and I hope one day you can look and see that in yourself too. 💙 - Dee

Sarah i cant wait for your merch to come out. You are very important to so many people whether you know it or not. You dont look like trash and you are definately not garbage.
