I love horror! 👻 I have to check out these stories. I usually watch horror movies, but after reading The Shining I can see how books can be better than their movie adaptations sometimes! OMG also, House of Leaves is one of my favourite books! I've never seen a book like it
Yes House of Leaves was so wild!! I proudly made it through every footnote in that book, even though it was a little grueling at times. Horror movies are my favorite. My Netflix queue is full of them! Haha
I actually recently heard about House of Leaves (on a podcast about an entirely unrelated topic strangely enough lmao) and definitely am going to need to track down a copy ASAP.
@@VedaASMR oh I definitely will. And I want to make it a point to grab a physical book because of the style it's written in. I'm sure the Kindle version wouldn't be quite the same lol
@@jgamez215 yes, definitely yet the physical copy on this one! I almost exclusively read on kindle now, but I can’t picture this book being formatted correctly. It would definitely lose some of its magic.
@@VedaASMR yeah that's me as well. I read like 90 percent on Kindle now just for the convenience of it (having the same books with me at work, on vacation, etc. Is so nice) but based on what I know about it I definitely think it could have something lost in the digital version so I'm gonna try and snag a physical copy soon
