My senior year of HS in 91. We had an Art teacher that would let us watch him once a week and by the end of class, everyone was passed out. Even the teacher. Lol.

Mary I can hear the warmth of affection that you have for your brother as you spoke of his accomplishments, I hope for both your sakes you can come together at some point in the future. I remember a video you did of a house and a barn and you said your brother and his wife were going to live there. You showed the area where you thought his wife would have a studio, as she was an artist. This video has the perfect voice quality, just wonderful and the stories made it that much more a rich experience. I was given a Commodore 64 when I was younger and the book that came with it taught you how to program music and lyrics and I loved it, unfortunately the school I went to did not teach programing until Junior year in High School and it was a Pascal language class that was classified by the School as a Math class and you had to pass Algebra as a prerequisite and I did not have a hope he double tooth picks in passing Algebra so I never pursued it until I went to Community College. I still enjoy some aspects of that but due to financial consideration I did not finish my college education, though I may try to finish when I reach 62, in two years and some months. Great video but just a color mixing FYI, start with the lighter color first and then gradually add the darker color for your desired outcome. It’s much harder to do it the opposite way.

Yes! Bob Ross was my very first asmr experience. I never fell asleep though.I used to make my sister watch it with me and she hated it. Nobody had named the experience of asmr yet and I thought I was the only person who felt it.

Worth the effort,

I got a Bob Ross tattoo with mountains and something he said one time. There’s an artist in all of us. ❤ One time in the ER I gave my Bob Ross blanket to a feverish child who couldn’t stop shivering. I mentioned it to a friend, and she surprised me by sending a new Bob Ross blanket to me to replace mine. When the family got called back, I encouraged them to keep the blanket. But this entire series of events felt like Bob just sharing his love through us all, and it was really nice. Sometimes I still think about that child and the blanket.
