I think it is totally normal to feel anxious in cars. They are super dangerous. And drivers are getting worse. Everyone is so desperate and impatient. It’s quite scary

I like this angle for ASMR! Just like adjusting the _volume_ can reinvigorate tingles, I suppose changes in _perspective_ can do the same. Too bad she has to be on the tips of her fingers to get this kind of effect.

That’s so funny because coffee actually puts me to sleep better than most things Also there’s a lot of people that don’t deserve dogs. There about 9 houses in my neighborhood that just let their dogs free roam the area. I can’t get into bicycling or take my dog on long walks or anything. It sucks

Your dog stories reminded me of how I accidentally kidnapped a dog. I was driving home from work one morning (I worked overnight shifts at that time) and noticed these teen boys following this tiny chihuahua along a busy street and calling to it. I pulled over to see if it was their dog and they needed help catching it and they said it wasn't theirs. But when they saw an adult come to handle the problem they left it to me... So I followed this dog a block or so until it wound up in the front yard of a yellow house where I was able to pick it up and take it to my car. It had no collar and looked pretty skinny so I figured it was a stray, but I decided to take it to a shelter to check for a microchip anyway just to be safe. The whole time it was with me in the car it was so happy, wagging it's tail and jumping from the passenger seat to my lap and back, it was really cute! At this point I was kind of hoping there was no owner so I could adopt it myself. When the vet at the shelter checked for a microchip they said it didn't have one. The vets saw how much this dog already loved me, and since they thought it was a stray they wanted me to adopt it! But I wanted to be sure it didn't belong to someone already, so I told them to hold onto it for a few days until I could find its owner and if I couldn't I would come back and adopt it. I went home and printed a bunch of flyers to put up in the neighborhood I found the dog, and after walking around for about an hour putting up flyers a car pulled up to me, and the driver told me that that was their dog! I was a little suspicious but I wanted to hear them out to be sure it was theirs. They told me to meet them at their house at the end of the street I was on and they drove off down the street. As I walked down the street I noticed that the house the car pulled up to was the SAME YELLOW HOUSE I picked the dog up from!! It was trying to go home because this *stranger* was following it and I snatched it up just before it made it home. 😭 I told the family which shelter the dog could be found at and I did NOT tell them I scooped it out of their yard, but I did scold them a little for letting it wander free on such a busy road. After that I went home, a dirty dog thief, desperately wanting a dog of my own. 😩

It really breaks my heart every time you talk about those poor puppies. I have a husky mix in my neighborhood that is outside all day and night as well. It barks at anyone who walks by for attention, but is too far away to be pet. People treating animals poorly is so awful. And most of the time they don’t even understand their cruelty. We should just go on a heist to rescue all the lonely puppers ourselves.
