💕Today I prepared one of my favorite food, Yukhoe and Mungtigi. My local butcher shop was a ‘butchering day’ today so luckily I was able to buy a fresh Hanwoo(Korean beef) sirloin that was butchered today. I made it myself at home refering to the taste that I experienced back at Daegu. And I made this video hoping you guys can feel the taste of it too. So please enjoy!
*What is Mungtigi?
It means a lump in Gyeongsang-do accent.
Mungtigi is in the 10 of most delicious food in Daegu, and it’s named after the style of its lump cut.
In Gyeongsang-do, they call just butchered beef a ‘fresh meat’ and a beef that is been butchered 1 or more days before and seasoned with a sauce is called ‘Yukhoe’.
