Aww the perculator, remember as a small girl my dad bought one in Italy and brought it back to England for mum. I couldn't wait to see it do its stuff through that glass dome. Great coffee. And that bacon being unwrapped in the papers!❤

I love this, and I remember nearly everything you used, from when I was a little girl! 😍 Those dishes, cast iron pans, bowls, cups, creamer bowls, etc, even the electric percolator was like the ones my Mom had..... but we also had a much larger stove top percolator for our huge, beautiful old timey wood and coal kitchen stove and oven, for when we had company, and Mom would brew that huge percolator full of coffee, and keep the stove going, to keep it brewing all day, only adding more coffee and water as needed, until the next morning, when she started everything fresh. The smaller electric percolator was for when we didn't have company, and I always thought it was so pretty, (the stove top one was so big and bulky looking) but I loved the sounds either of them made. Mom actually used cut up plain white paper towels as inner filter linings for her percolators, and she literally dared anyone to use her inner "filters" for anything other than in the percolators. 😂 I have a large ( the big bulky one) stove top percolator for my stove, just like hers, (which I don't use for coffee very often now, except for rare occasions, I usually heat water in it, for a small pour over coffee pot I have) as well as odds and ends of things passed down to me from Mom, and other family that's gone now, and they bring back all those wonderful old memories. How I miss my Mom and other loved ones, and how I miss those days. Your videos always help this lonely older lady to go back in time again, for just a while, so I don't feel so alone, and I thank you so much for that. 💝
