Hello and welcome to Mid Mod Meridian! My name is Sherri. I grew up in the 1960s when life was a bit more analog but no less vivid and memorable. The tingly, hypnotic sensations of ASMR had permeated my childhood and occasionally surprised me in adulthood. Now I would love to share with you the unique sounds, colors, and patterns of that time. Come sit down with me at a midcentury kitchen table, the office, the department store, the drugstore . . . and feel the good vibrations 😉, the little crinkles, the tiny taps and textures.

I’m so curious what “vintage” ASMR will look like in 50 years. Probably laptops and wired charging will be a thing of the past by then so we’ll see laptop cases and chargers etc
Use the callback brochures sparingly, only if you get the sense that the perspective customer has expressed interest and is open to you coming back another time. Otherwise just leave them a sample if they won’t speak to you when you call.

That white wicker handbag reminds me of my grandma. She always had white wicker stuff. I remember specifically laundry baskets she had that were made out of that same material. 😊
Absolutely Wonderful! Brings me back to when I sold Avon! Your shift reminds me of the ones my Oma would sew for herself. I love how your nails matched it perfectly! I will probably watch this a dozen times!🤤
Was a territory like a block, or a whole neighborhood? What if a representative wasnt proactive or successful in their territory? Would they be replaced? I cant imagine Avon giving exclusivity to any representative.
You know, that’s one question I can’t answer bc I didn’t sell Avon-I’m drawing on memories of my mom’s Avon lady. But the paper ephemera that I shared in the video does make reference to one’s territory. I’m definitely as curious as you are. Wonder if any other viewers would know?
I loved this video, l watched it twice and will watch it again in the future. I so wish we still had Avon ladies call. Now they just put a brochure through the door and pick it back up.

Another outstanding video but you really outdid yourself with this one. My mother used to sell Avon in the 70s and this video was very accurate. Also laughed about when you said you give your daughter a sample when they come in. Same as mine did.
You may have answered this 100 times and I’ve missed it but where do you get all your props-including all the Avon and Tupperware items? Every one of these is so well done it’s like stepping back in time.
I’m 73 and your videos are a blast from the past ! As a stay at home mom , I had an Avon lady that would stop by…your videos are awesome….she literally relaxed me (and I always bought products) just like you do !! DELIGHTFUL!
The white purse at the start melted my brain in the best way 🫠🫠❤ Love your Avon video's, I used to be a rep & I loved it! I just love seeing all the vintage Avon peoducts, my mum was also a rep in the 80's and the products were so much better back then than they are now. Vintage is best 👌 ❤
