Hey Ernest! I appreciate your comment. I'm trying to get out there to help people better take care of their leather. It'd be great if you could share and subscribe! The reason why I put the Sno-Seal on the laces is because it's a waterproofing treatment. So since these boots are going to be used in winter, I wanted to waterproof the laces as well so that they wick the water and don't absorb. Not necessary but nice to have. Hope that makes sense.
