I relate to this a lot. I probably have an anxiety disorder too (I'm getting diagnosed next week, but my therapist said there was almost no doubt that I had one), and for around 6/7 years now, ASMR has been the only thing that allows me to stay calm on a daily basis. I am very easily frightened when I'm alone in a silent room, so I often have ASMR in the background, and watching it allows me to deal with my intrusive thoughts in a much calmer and saner way. Be strings bro/sis, you're not alone in this, and I deeply hope you're gonna enjoy life as much as you deserve even with GAD.

For me, when I explained what my anxiety felt like the Drs/etc all new I really had it. I explained to them it's fear - switched-on ALL the time. It feels wlike that moment a friend pretends to push you off a cliff or into a swimming pool, that MOMENT of COLD Fright is what we have 24 hours a day!.... Our flight or fight response neurons are OVER firing constantly. When they heard my explanation, they immediately got a Consultant(top Doc) & prescribed very awesome "tranqulizers" - not Xanax/etc - something else. Anyway, happy to read and see your reply - Glows is always awesome - a real sweet lady. Her style matches my Central Nervous Systems tickle-spots perfectly
