Hey Haley, love your videos, you inspire me so much! I'm trying to get back into reading but really struggling to stay focused while I read so I can't read more than a few pages at a time. Do you have any video on how you stay consistent and focused?
it's so funny because I LOVE Abby Jimenez but for some reason I can't get into any Emily Henry books because I feel like I don't vibe with her writing style. Maybe I need to give it another try! I really liked Just for the summer but it wasn't as good as some of her others! I find many of her books focus on trauma/mental health and I think it's always really well done which is refreshing. Also, I've been eyeing up that Liz Tomforde series for so long. I think I read Mile High on KU but I think I did some skimming lol. So I'm running over to Indigo to put these in my cart rn lol.
which Emily Henrys have you tried?? my favs are always book lovers & happy place !! but i think happy place and beach read are the 2 that mostly deal with mental health/heavier topics as for liz tomforde, YESSS pls read THE RIGHT MOVE! so good. forever a 5⭐️
@@HaleyJeanASMR The first one of hers I tried was book lovers- I kept picking it up and putting it down and restarting lol I'll have to try it again!! And then more recently I started Happy Place. I just couldn't get into it for some reason! Everyone raves about her though so i need to give it another go!
I didn't have a good month in reading either. I only rated every book 1 star cuz they were so bad. Also dnf'd two- at least you got some good books that may not have been great but at least they were still good!
i think it would be incredibly moving and important if you read palestinian literature and did a review or a recommendation video! whether non-fiction or fiction, lots of incredibly touching works out there. lots of love!!
