I listen to Hollow Knight ambient music, lore, and now your map drawing. Being able to relax and listen to your explanation of the game and map while also listening to the scratching of the card is ✨chefs kiss✨
#favourite hearing your voice in all of your videos are the most calming and it makes me feel like the world is in peace one of my favorite videos was the 10 hr bundle videos i like how they all made me feel sleepy and very relaxed and I love how you spend your time on map drawings and just all the videos you do, you dont rush through any of them you take your time talking about one topic and you are very patient with everything you do. You deserve all the support you get and the passion that you do with your channel deserves many and many viewers as you can get and this channel is going to go beyond as it deserves

Congratulations Jay! I remember discovering Asmrctica in 2016 during the hiatus you took after the europe drawing video, while I was in 7th grade. It drew me in because I have always been a fan of geography and history, that combined with your informal and genuine attitude while recording made it a very comforting place for me to visit when I was in need of sleep/relaxing. I have been keeping up with the channel every since, watching your comeback from the hiatus, the nature videos on the island, celebrating 8k subs with the smiling globe, the collabs with Indie and Lets Find out, Portugal videos, writing down names of subscribers in the wild (mine is there by the way)! Noticing you stopped enumerating thumbnails after #50, and being super happy you made a two part video (three counting the non listed bossa nova one) about my homecountry Brazil. And much more moments, too many to list in this comment, that I remember fondly. I am now in my 2nd semester in college, and cant help but to feel very happy and proud for you, who has, in a way, been with me while growing up, supporting always when needed. Congratulations again! The next milestones are just a matter of time, your effort and talent were and will always be present. You deserve it!

My #favorite video would be the light box tracings of the continents where you add all the letters of ASMRCTICA to the spots on the map with the cities that start with those letters. very creative and super relaxing! My own #favorite video is your longest english word, I find it interesting while incredibly pleased my ears. That video is my friend while I was doing a long homework before the deadline, and still being used as a background sound while I'm doing another long homework. And I am graduated from middle school because of that video so I have some little story to that. Thank you Mr. Asmrctica.

My #favorite video is the climate map tracing, its so calm and tracing makes a nice consistent sound. And the mayflower series is amazing, definitely wanted to mention it. Because I listen to your videos on Spotify a lot, I would say that most of the spotify content is very much appreciated! When I am on my way home in public transport its nice to turn the audio on, close my eyes and relax. In general I really love your "storytelling" videos, when you talk about certain topic and combine it with tracing, writing or drawing. A lot of the recent videos have been checking this mark for me, so I am very excited to see what you are going to do next!

I never knew that much about Essos until that video so I was able to use the information quizzes that I often partake in. The drawing of Westeros is a close second place. But a few months ago you posted my all-over favorite video. The SPQR roman empire map drawing. From a young age I have always been fascinated by the roman culture, I never quite learned how their government was structured. #Favourite "ASMR 3 hours Drawing 10 Maps on Light Table" this was by far the best video. I do not know how but the Scanner Part was sooo good. It was also kinda funny how the spray bottle did not work at first.

Thanks for all your videos. #favorite I really like the night bus series because it makes me feel like I am really traveling on the route and bus rides are very relaxing to me. As a child I was the last stop getting home from school on the bus and I usually had a nice nap 😴 Editing after watching more to add that if I had to pick only one it would be the map of Argentina. I am always so impressed by your map drawing but I like that one best. The night bus series is mentioned so early in the video it seemed like I picked it just to enter the drawing.

My #favorite video of yours is the map drawing of the Roman Empire. I'm very interested in history and especially Roman history, so I think that mixed with the outstanding ASMR (voice + pen sounds) it is such a relaxing video that I like to watch over and over again!

My #favourite is the one of antique maps of the world's largest lakes. I love all your videos with antique maps or books. It's so fascinating to imagine all the work that went into map making back then, and also fascinating to see how much the world has changed

Congratulations Jay! There are many video's of yours I would consider my favourite, especially the rambles, the outdoor video's and your more "show and tell" style of video's. But if I were to pick an all time favourite I think it would have to be your second ever video where you talked about the song contest. It was the first video of yours that I've seen and I was immediately pulled into your channel, I just thought it was so incredibly special and unlike anything I've seen on other asmr channels. I think this is a theme on your channel that has stayed here the entire time, you always come up with incredible new ideas to hook your viewers, which also makes it seem a lot more personal. I found your videos in the recommended whilst watching the ASMRnerd. I can’t remember the exact first video but I remember quickly finding the Tamriel map video. I must say that this is my #favourite and one that I have watched multiple times. The Elder Scrolls is my favourite video game series and Tamriel is my favourite fictional world. I loved the mostly simple pen choices which seemed to fit the feeling of the world (pencil, fountain pen, calligraphy/dip pen). Fountain pens and dip pens give me lots of tingles so that video is almost perfect for me

I've read a couple of comments in the past about that video, which say it has something extra, and I have tried to figure out what it is. Maybe it's very relaxed and I hadn't prepared so much, not reading so many facts, and not trying to keep a lot in mind before recording. It's interesting to see you call it an ASMR performance, I guess that this aspect could be even more important than the topic itself. I will keep this in mind, and see if I can record a video with the same approach in the future :)
I did a bit of research, so to speak, and it might be as you say that the video is more relaxed which contributes to a bit slower and more drowsy speech which is great for ASMR. Compared to the Migration Period and German Confederation videos, in which you've done research and clearly get more excited about the content which means faster more energetic speech. Now I'm not saying you should be bored while doing videos but maybe some conscious "slowing down" of the delivery can lead to wonderful results 😊 Also please make more videos from that atlas by William R Shepard if you have any interest left in it ❤

Navy cartographer and budget projectionist, pilot, always teaching me something, or gone. He flew the world, describing it when we could sit close, in gentle phrasing designed for a little girl he said had a good brain. You fill my void.

I’ll throw my hat into the ring. #favorite. If I had to pick one it would be the Hollow Knight map. HK is a personal favorite to the point I’ve done all the radiant bosses in God Home. Your map video really hit me as a creative way to recreate the map by using subtractive drawing instead of additive. And the choice to use a wide range of vibrant inks under the black crayon not only gave it more pop, but also felt like a pleasing homage to the vibrant art of HK. Honorable mentions to Elden Ring, Breath of the Wild and the astronomy videos.

My #favorite video of yours must be the Instagram compilation or the ASMR Outdoors video with the 3D imprints. The Instagram video is great because of the lo-fi feel of it. Maybe it's the aspect ratio? Especially the start of it is really good and one of my go-to videos for ASMR. The ASMR Outdoors video just feels like we're walking around a forest with you and has such a nice feel to it. You searching for different materials in the forest is very relaxing and afterwards using the 3D imprint thingamajig with the sounds of nature playing in the background is just incredible. Thanks for all the videos you've made and congrats on 300k subscribers! Can't believe how much you've grown since I've been subscribed to you and I wish you so much more.

I have several probable you can see that some one in alaska watch ALOT your videos is me , like the Climate Zones of the World or also one from 2020 or 2019 is around 1 hours about maps of central europe etc , you have the really best production and voice and the best of all the detail of keep the entire recording smooth and quiet recording , other asmr artist some or most do not care of such small details as you that's a huge difference between your videos and others , Thank You so much , now I do not work at night any longer I was 6 years wasting my life working at night , but now I am back on day time and still I sleep with your channel🍻🍺🍰🥧🌮🧀🍕🍟🍻🍺

For my #favorite I’d have to go with either of the railway rambles here, since I don’t think i’ve ever made it through more than 10 minutes of either conscious. they just knock me out so quickly. it’s also nice that they’re on spotify so I can have my phone off listening to them, and that they’re in the podcast section so I can avoid midroll ads. odd thing is that I don’t get tingles from asmr, but it still helps to put me to sleep and relax me, and nobody even comes close to your level in that regard. thank you so much for all the good nights of sleep you have given me ever since I discovered you a couple years back.
