This video is so messy.🙈 There were so many little mistakes with lighting and makeup and props and camera angle and … I thought about not sharing it, but then I remembered that there have been so many times I’ve seen some of my favorite creators talk about being unhappy with their work on videos I’ve absolutely loved. I figured that a good number of people would still get relaxation and enjoyment out of the video, so I should quit being vain/prideful and just put it out there. I did my best to edit it in a way that would hopefully make all the little flaws less jarring. I welcome your feedback, but please be kind-I promise I’m aware of any of the issues you might want to draw my attention to. :) Hopefully y’all will enjoy this one okay, and I’ll plan to try filming this one again sometime in the future.
@@neefjanneman I didn't want to specifically address any of them! I still remember the time (YEARS ago) a favorite creator of mine posted a comment apologizing for the distracting pimple on their face ... as I was watching the video, I realized that I probably never would've noticed the pimple on my own, but because the artist had mentioned it my attention kept getting pulled to it.
I really like the way the volume is on this recording. Every shift and motion makes a sound and it accompanies your wonderful calming voice in a great way
The overwhelming advice for RU-vidrs now is to NOT do channel intros, but I can't bear to think about removing mine. It might ultimately contribute to lower numbers, but I love our little opening ritual.
I don't know much about technical/editing stuff or which cranial nerve is behind the sense of Snellen, but I know the sound of your voice and feeling comfortable and the little burst of joy at cute animal stickers, and all those things I like quite a lot. Thank you for the video you made, JB.

Listen, no ASMR video is perfect, but let us not forget that we are at your complete mercy. We go into ASMR videos with our pants mentally down; you could insert a one-second clip of you screaming at the top of your lungs anywhere in the video and we'd be utterly unprepared. But you don't do that and so I must be grateful

I would love to see an exam where the person just fails the exam extraordinarily and the doctor becomes increasingly concerned, especially if it was one of the sci-fi ones and failing meant something was about to happen with the test subject.
