Hello! Thank you for your concerns. For the harsher chemicals, they do wear gloves, however, most of the time, they prefer handling the dial restoration without them 🙂

Also the small luminous dots where either radium or tritium. You don’t want that permeating your skin after being dissolved in that liquid! At least it would be good if you used nitrile gloves which are thin but still protective. Take care!

The texture, color, intensity, etc. are all important to get right at that step, or else we would need to start the entire process over again. We always want to make sure the outcome is perfect! Also, thank you for your concern on the chemicals.
