I loved this audio. At some points, I could practically *feel* the sarcasm through the screen. In my opinion, it was hard to tell who the real "villain" was. He was *labeled* as the villain but was he really?
LET'S GET IT BABY BOI!!!!! But seriously I would love to have a part two where the listener fights her lover again and he makes her realize that he was right and she turns dark and goes with him destroying the justice company or something beyond those lines....lol bad ik
I want this as like a book series. Like book 1 is these two meeting and training and becoming friends. Book 2 is those friends, newly graduated heroes in their own right, fighting bad guys and becoming lovers, and Book 3 is when the mistake happens and Iron Starling chooses to join Justice, Inc. and they go from lovers to enemies and Blood Oath kinda snaps here (which I assume would be the interpersonal narrative climax) and really truly embraces being the villain. Then in book 4, something happens and Iron Starling realizes her mistake in joining Justice Inc and after making sure her family is hidden from JI finding them, she goes rogue and goes back to Blood Oath. He’s still understandably angry at her but realizes, quickly, that she’s genuinely turned on JI. He kinda snapped in the last book but his feral wrath has simmered down by now. He takes her back, honestly relieved she’s there and still loves him, and she and Blood Oath tear JI down. I’d not only read this as a series but I’d buy the box set 😆
I was convinced that the listener was going to confess to signing up with corporate to get dirt on their shady activities and didn't want him getting involved due to his family. Maybe the call was something to do with an underground resistance group she's working with. Ah, I hope Alodia does another part with that in mind and starts by abducting the guy who killed the brother for a good old mind reading session~ The skirmish in the cornfield could be the listeners way of testing his abilities for the fight ahead with corporate. Maybe the murderer goes after Cardlin when he realises killing the brother wasn't enough to gain the listeners affection and listener beats the crap out of him. That's one way to get him to confess to the heinous shit he framed Cardlin for. _Ohh_ that would be great for a cross collab! Ah, one can dream. Excellent work as always. Always was a sucker for possessive type of audios and always will. That indignant, *_"Don't tell me to shoosh!"_* was delightful!
Ahhh! This is amazing! The writing.. the voice acting... THOSE SOUND EFFECTS! I felt like I was in a movie! Incredible job!! The conflict and emotion... everything about this is just so immersive - gah! Awesome job from top to bottom!
