Nice...until those pesky tourists showed up! The river/waterfall shot reminds me of Kerosene Creek. Did you got for a swim there? Its great because it is free and relaxing under the little hotwaterfalls.
No, I wanted to go there, but a few factors stopped us. Mainly the weather. These vids were shot in August, and the weather was cool and wet, rain almost every day. The day we went past Kerosene creek was the same day we went to Wai-O-Tapu, and we had a morning of sunshine so we had to take advantage of it to see Lady Knox Geyser and Wai O Tapu. That same day it became cold and cloudy in the PM and I didn't want to go to Kerosene creek and get changed and swim in it. These things said, I want to go back to Rotorua. We saw/did less than 50% of the activities & sightseeing up there, lots more stuff to see. We totally missed out on the white island tour from Whakatane because of heavy rain. I'd like to go back in the summer months and do more of the things I missed out on.
