I love this! Finding Wally was everything when I was 7 (in France we call him Charlie). This character has always given me a warm feeling even now as an adult, It's perfect for an ASMR video.

As a 42 year old Where's Wally sure brings back memories. I remember in the early Nineties me and my pal David often sitting in the vestibule of his house - for some reason we liked chilling in there - as we both tried to find various things in my Where's Wally book.

I always loved these books. There were a few that depicted "battle scenes" which were always my favorite. I remember one had these water and fire monks, or something similar, fighting it out.

I have the collectors edition of the first 3 Where's Wally books I bought from Hamleys over 2 decades ago. I still love those books way more then an adult should lol. Excellent idea for an asmr vid man 👌

@@SRPASMR It was Wally first, Martin Handford and his books are English - it was the Americans who decided to change it to Waldo, for some reason!

@@Noname72105 Yeah, the original book launched in 1987 in both the UK and the US. Odlaw wasn't introduced until 1990, and I guess he he just decided that naming this new character Yllaw wouldn't have been great 😅

I don’t know why, but I’ve always been crazy good at any of the “find x” books. We had mandatory speed reading classes in school where you learn to scan 1/4 page at a time instead of going line by line. I feel like I’ve been doing that in these books since I was about 5 😂
