Very helpful video. I’m also carving a violin back. I’m learning a lot from this video. I left 1/4 inch excess after sawing out outside contour of my violin back. Probably too much? It will just take extra time to trim it off. Thanks for this video.
Watch and learn , there are many videos with verbal , if you understood the process you wouldn’t be asking for verbal on a violin build , I thought it’s obvious what he is doing , just sayin.
