You guys were a little wrong on overwatch, the order still requires normal line of sight. The arrow volley rule only affects the attack, not any other abilities that key off of line of sight.
Not that it probably really mattered but in that last round.. Starks couldnt use Assault orders for a ranged attack as its only Melee.. Great battle report as always though.. love seeing the new Baratheon abilities in action..
Jeroen: Hi Mike , Thanks for your comment! And yes you are completely right 😅. I made the boo-boo there and I found it out during the editing work. If I am picking them again I will definitely keep a eye on it :).
Jeroen: Yep you are totally right with that 😅. I just forgot that they had it. I will keep a closer eye on it next time :). Also happy to hear you enjoyed seeing the Starks.
Great Batrep! Question, when using the KS terrain like the bog, is it customary to use the card terrain as official size? Does official size actually exist/ matter, or can you use whatever terrain you place down?
Jeroen: Yeah so for the tournaments etc. they keep the sizes from the cardboard terrain. We only use the 3d stuff here because, it's nice to see it on the table + it's gives in my opinion an extra layer of awesomeness to the game. But to answer your question correctly. If you doubt which size they are using in the events you wanna participate in just ask your TO (Tournament Organizer) for the event. Then you are always certain that you will use the right ones during the event :). Hope this helps!
1:06:58 Oh darn! Sean forgets to give Eddard’s unit a panic test with -2, due to Cavaliers failing theirs from the LB shooting, could have killed Eddard! Or heal him
Super game!! End of R5, bara player forget to use his varys token when stark plyed sorwds, at this moment, the archers had 3models left R6, assault orders doesn t work on range attacks!
Jeroen: The video’s have been recorded a few weeks, months ago. At that time Sean was still learning the ropes and made some pretty hard errors from time to time. Since I had to keep track of my own stuff because, well I am mostly not playing Starks I couldn’t pay attention to Sean his gameplay as well. I think if we would record now stuff would go a lot easier and a lot better :). Especially on Sean’s side.
Jeroen: Hi Thomas, Yep you are correct. However we dertabted about the stubborn tenacity trigger. Because you see me grabbing 1 wound back for the winterfell guardian and then like 10/20 sec after checking another wound for Rally Banner :).
Jeroen: Hi there, First off thanks for the comment. It is much appreciated. Secondly the L item is one that we designed ourselves and have printed out for certain events. If you are looking for one yourself feel free to get in contact with us on Discord so that we can maybe arrange something :).
Fun game and great to see both Sean and Jeroen playing together. Also nice to see Jeroen handing over control of his Baratheons! Those Tully Cav are tough opponents.
Jeroen: Thanks Randall :D it was truly blast playing against Sean for the first on the channel. It didn't go perfect because, there were still a few hiccups but, for the first one I can't be that displeased. Besides Sean enjoyed the game and in the end that's the most important thing for us right :D.
44:11 pretty critical mistake: Eddard picked up the objective (which I think is a mistake to do) using an Arya token. That makes the unit’s movement 2 and hence the charge towards Halbediers would be quite difficult
Jeroen:@@teemukujala201so in the mission it says when he ends a move he claims the opjective. During the moving I said that I could over it and luckily just avoid ending on it before it would claim. That’s why I am not grabbing the token during that turn :). If the camera showed it then it’s probably the look 😄.
Whooooo more content to watch during the painting session 😄! Keep up the good work guys! Ps: I love seeing Jeroen playing with other armies next to his Baratheons. Would love to see the Martells or the Boltons in a future game.
Jeroen: Thanks for your comment again Daniel :D. We are happy to hear you enjoy the content. Considering your request I will see what I can do in the near future :D.
Baratheon botched round 3. Rough to see. Several small misplays in a row but cost the Stag boys atleast 1 killed unit and 1 very hurt unit on the close side of the field. Good learning experience for the newer player.
Jeroen: Yeah I know what you mean. If he would have activated differently and did a few other moves in round 3 then I think he would have had the game. But as you said yourself it’s a good learning experience for him. In the end Sean started to play this game seriously 3 months ago and well I am really proud on how he progressed over the last couple of months :). If he keeps up the hard work and if he learns from his mistake he will come out as a strong and wise stag boy one day :D.
I would have influenced faithful with mel and panic tested the bowmen. Getting the faitful another token to heal the vost with thier built in fueled by slaughter. He could have attacked the outriders flank with 3+ crit sundering vicous with vunerable panicked. Alao i would have moved the light bringers towards the champs and faithful to strengthen that side of the board. Halberds were lost either way so now hisnlight bringers are in no mans land with 2 cav circling.
