Practically speaking you are correct, but technically there is an argument that it is still a rebellion, in a broader historical context, for the following reason: Robert Baratheon did not claim the Iron Throne by right of conquest, he claimed it on the fact that his grandmother was a Targaryen, and his great grandfather was King Aegon V Targaryen. So technically the Baratheons are in power because of their Targaryen lineage, and while we know Joffrey and Tommen are Lannisters, the world believes they are Baratheons, meaning that the Blackfyres (by a different name: Aegon Targaryen) are still rebelling against the Targaryens (By a different name: House Baratheon). This, imo, allows for it to be called another rebellion, which, given the context, is more interesting than simply referring to it as an invasion.

I see what you mean, however having Targ. Blood doesn't make Robert a Baratheon. Furthermore, his claim through his grandmother was a retroactive stunt made after Robert won the Throne by defeating the Targaryen army. The Rebellion was originally launched in response to Lyanna's kidnapping and the demands for Robert and Ned's deaths after Rickard and Brandon Stark were unlawfully murdered by Aerys. By all practical measures, House Baratheon seized the Throne through Right of Conquest. What's wrong with the Title "Secret Blackfyre Invasion?" That's exactly what's happening if the Blackfyre Theory is true.

Lucimyr we’ll just look at various policy positions. More people agree with liberals on what constitutes a “good” policy. Like gay rights, taxing the rich, Medicare for all, legal weed (or all drugs). We’re also phasing out the death penalty, even tho that’s one of the few issues that the American public is conservative on. Also liberals tend to be more for racial equality and don’t believe in a “superior race”. This just gets you called “pc” or whatever by right wingers “some but a lot” and when minorities see that, they think “Damn maybe white liberals are the ones who want to look out for me and not those crazy backwoods conservatives” I’m sure most conservatives like yourself aren’t racist and have nothing against minorities, but whatever the majority percentage is, you can bet that for liberals, that percentage of people who think we’re all equal is higher. I mean come one bro, just ask a black person in America or any minority, “Who’s less likely to be racist to you?” They’ll always choose the white liberal over the white conservative. Is that an accident or do they notice certain behaviors in “your” group that bother them?

When they turn this into a show, this has to be the narrative.

If you're gonna choose a Fake Aegon theory, then why choose a very weak one that has absolutely no relevance to the story, instead of one that is massively supported by the text and makes sense within the plot, if Aegon is a Brightflame nobody would get what that means, it has no meaning, no purpose, no relevance.

Black dragons suck, they lost every single rebellion and (assuming Y. griff is a Targaryen) their last Male member had two god damned heads. They led armies of sellswords to battle in the 3-5th rebellions, the second ‘rebellion’ was a miserable pathetic failure thanks to a child and a bloody hedge knight. The fourth rebellion was clear they had no chance as barely any houses supported them and their whole army and leader was lost while the loyalists lost barely 100 soldiers. The blackfyres are like the children show bad guys who fail every time and act as if somehow they will beat the good guys in the 155th attempt.

That was the way of Westeros since the Faith of the Seven gained dominance over the continent, save Dorne, the North, and the Iron Islands. The Faith always preached that bastards were sinful and grasping, and the actions of Daemon didn’t make things better. Much like how the Dance of Dragons cemented the idea that a Queen could not rule Westeros, the Blackfyre Rebellions cemented the idea that all bastards were sinful, grasping, and not to be trusted. The tragedy is that Daemon was used by the nobles at the time to try to rid the court of Dornish influence, and Bittersteel helped convince him solely to support him. To the nobles, if Daemon won, then the Dornish would be gone, and there would be an ideal king on the Iron Throne. If he lost, then it was one less bastard, and his example could be used to show that all bastards were potentially treacherous.

Ehh, very unlikely, that would be overly complicated and unnecessary, also there is no hint, foreshadowing or evidence that there is even more depth to the conspiracy. On top of that Aegon surviving makes no sense whatsoever.

That argument has been debunked ages ago, first of all he never lies, he says that Aegon is alive, which is true, because Aegon Blackfyre is called Aegon, on top of that, it could just be him not risking any information leaking through the children, even though they're supposedly mute, I'm guessing they have the ability to write or use sign language, anyway something like the Blackfyre conspiracy is way too risky, not even mute children can be allowed to know, because if anyone even suspects, not knows, just suspects that Aegon is a Blackfyre, the entire plan is fucked. On top of that even if none of the above was the case, it could just be an inconsistency or GRRM forcing Varys to say that in order to misguide us, because there is just simply way too much evidence that supports Aegon being Blackfyre than there is against it.

Aegon is not a blackfyre he is a targ (or a lyseni possible but I don’t think so) he is the bastard born son between rhaegar and lyanna he is the mummers dragon as he is varys dragon and a dragon pretending to be another he looks just like rhaegar and the golden company support of him isn’t weird at all as they never even knew a blackfyre and why would they care which dragon there great or even great great grandfather supported ? From the vague statements put out by the showrunner and his commitment to the lore, I think he wants to adapt the Blackfyre Rebellion eventually.

It would've be cool and badass if fAegon hatches a dragon of his own (maybe with one of the eggs on the Winterfell crypts that Jacaerys Velaryon and his dragon probably left when they passed there during the Dance of the Dragons) disposal instead of stealing one of Dany's dragons!(and a possible dragon for fAegon could have the colors of Drogon, but inverted, named Serrax)

If Aegon is a Targaryen, he and Jon are half-brothers, and Daenerys is his aunt. If Aegon is a Blackfyre, he and Jon are distant cousins.

Jon as a Targ has the right? a House Blackfyre support would disagree and say Aegon as a Blackfyre has the right. It depends on your own view who is the true King. Do you think back then, that Daeron II Targaryen was the true King or was it Daemon I Blackfyre. For people who support House Blackfyre (like me) is House Blackfyre the true royal House and with that Aegon (if he really is a Blackfyre) is the true King. If you are a Targ supporter a Targ is the true King.

It makes sense Addam Velaryon. It all comes down to perspective. I just hope it doesn't end in another civil war. I wonder what number will this type of blackfyre rebellion be.

The original plan was for Aegon to marry Dany and invade Westeros together. But Daenerys was taking too long in the east, so Aegon and his people changed the plan and invaded alone.

Okay, that makes sense. In this case Aegon (as the grandson of the madking) has the best claim for the iron throne, right ? And a quick second question, what might happen if Tommen dies ? What do you think the Lannisters and Tyrells would do? Would they follow Aegon against Stannis ? ( I assume he will survive against Bolton army )

Ahmet Arslan The Lannisters would never follow Aegon, but the Tyrells might. In the case of Tommen dying, the Tyrell's might betray the Lannisters and join Aegon, maybe even offering Queen Margaery (who is still queen) as a wife. And yes if Aegon is a Targaryen, he has the best Targaryen claim, but Stannis had the best Westerosi claim.

Yes he is from the books, he invades Westeros in book 5, and that's where a lot of the evidence for his background is presented.

TheGhoul no it wasn't right before Robert's Rebellion. Aerys II (Mad King) was a prince, Tywin Lannister was only heir to Casterly Rock and so on. It was about 30 (maybe even 40 I can't remember) years before RR.
