@@gamedigitxwhen you 360 it requires you to double tap the brake. And that makes the brake lights go on, and if you are me who has a good reaction time you would know if they might 360 you or not. That makes sense?
It's not just a color filter, while it's still had that pinkish Japan skies it's basically the sunset that brings that warm yellow color reflection on the ground and buildings which makes it even more realistic than the old one, other than that there is also improved directional shadows and lighting in Unite.
Idc about graphics, i’m worried about performance. This game already runs horribly on low end or middle end hardware. How many people are going to be unable to play because they wanna raise the bar to 2018-2019 console standards, but still not allow every platform to change graphics? (Before you say it beats those, take a look at something like MW2019, which isn’t even high end on graphics)
Has the optimization gotten worse? I remember playing it on a Samsung A10 (which is the worst of the worst) at a stable 30fps in low graphics, obviously it was not the same when you increase the visual quality.
Jesus, the most important new thing that is in AEU is finally sun shadows from cars and other contact shadows, not shading under the car that was before and do not care whether there is sun or not.
@@xXVibrantSnowXxBut in terms of overall realism, it looks more realistic. There's a lot more interaction with lights and scenes than there used to be. Asphalt 9 used to fuck up the whole industry of mobile racing and optimization due to the great lighting and shader changes depending on the scene, but the price of this was that the cars and the environment did not contact the lighting with other objects. Baked lighting, cubic reflection maps and baked reaction to light and shadows did their job, but now at the engine level I see much more interactive light, say adding these minor details gives A9U to keep up technologically with competitors such as NFS mobile or CarX Street.
I would still prefer the old environment as it looks winters, kinda suits for country like Japan, the newer version looks very sunny, just my personal opinion
@@andi8654 few days ago I was thinking the same, that why don't they release it for Console and apple tv, now here we have it, Gameloft just trying to milk this game more, like the rovio did with angry birds, see where rovio is now purchase by sega
They said they have these changes even to the game engine. Should we expect any change in how the car feels while driving? Like will those unexplainable crashes would reduce now?
Hmmm... Unite looks great, but I think I prefer A9's Osaka. That sort of pink filter looks really cool to me! I'm sure they'll show more maps in the future, so we can make a better comparison
the streets look a lot wider and clearer in unite maybe it's because of the removal of obstacles and the better lightning i like it it that way , i wish the final product would look like that assuming that what was shown is an alpha build
They improved some lightning effects and put a old classic yellow color vibe, for me i think this is gonna put this game a lot unoptimized for mostly mid range devices, this game already stopped working as high quality settings in my device, so might not perform well in my device on next update
remember what happened after last year update? smartphones causes overheating, my note 8 pro had 40 fps performance rate at ultra quality graphics enables but then suddenly i see so much lagging with setting locked at performance mode @@TuneRaceRepeat
Does that mean they will take a page off of NFS Hot Pursuit and add a functional rear view mirror? Do you know how much that would help me in multiplayer!
The environmental shadows and ambient and directional lighting are are much better and realistic, the new graphics might not look good to some people but to me it's more realistic and better, while its still had that cool tone pinkish skies that you would normally see in Japan - the sun setting which in real life is normally warm orange or yellowish in color is what brings those warm tone reflections that you see on the ground and buildings which to me is more realistic than the old one.
The shadows are much sharper Also the pbr is looking different (the old version is looking way more flat) And some changes in lightning textures and models
I prefer the OG Asphalt 9 Graphics. It looks so Video Gamy and Bright and Colorful. The new one looks so orange, its too much 😒 Edit: And they even took out the arrows on the track. I love those arrows, its what made Asphalt Asphalt 😭
If you observe carefully in rl, shadows are not that sharp unless the object is very close to the surface where the shadow is produced. The current shadow graphics are up to some extent at par with real life. Hope GL will pay attention to the details.
2 steps fowards and one step backwards with the graphics. The reflections, light scattering and shadows might be better but present Asphalt 9 does a better job with its color grading
I prefer the current vision more. The global environmental lighting feels softer now, but much sharper in Unite, which looks like some quotidian racing games
Something new is very important: you haven't said about the car's shadow, and you have said about the light reflection, but I think that's not good when the car is not in a shadow or racing at night.
Can it run in my iqoo 12 8gen 3 on max settings 🗿🗿 m playing a9 right now garrage lv10🗿🗿 will i continue previous account or gonna starte a new one like from a8 to a9 different account spent a lot on a9😢
It's just that A9 UNITE has a warmer color scheme, and changed artstyle that kinds reminds me of asphalt 8? Idk tbh 😅😂 and ofc crappy performance it's required if it's a game in the beta version
people can understand that unite footage is probably having maybe above high graphics and you can still lower it down. honestly unite in this footage gives me spiderverse vibes lol
I thought it would be a different Asphalt because of the name, but it's more of the same with better graphics and worse performance, honestly the lighting in Asphalt 9 seems superior, at least the shadows, It really looks like it's reflecting the sky and making the shadow blue
@@TuneRaceRepeat 😂that also ruins the fun , like if they made getting cars easier like in nfs games it would be better , I spent days grinding for a car in asphalt 8 only to find out that currency is difficult to get and replaying racing doesn't give that much back, the whole asphalt series just got boring for me coz of that , asphalt 9 didn't really change that
