Your rendition of the piece is just ridiculously impressive to begin with, but thank you especially for adding the bass clarinet part at 4:37. I played this piece my senior year of high school, and was never sure if anyone even paid attention to that bit. Thanks for making a bass clarinetist happy ^u^
Do I need to state the obvious? The phenomenally exquisite volume control? The wonderfully clever instrumentation? The exploded brains? This arrangement has driven me mad. I still can't process what I've just heard. A truly unbelievable show of arrangment skills, musical perception, and dedication. This would do Mackey proud...oh wait, it already has :-| I will eternally love this; this is easily one of my most favorite MPCs of all time.
John Mackey says "No doubt, the most awesome "Asphalt Cocktail" interpretation ever. It totally works, and it sounds like the music I wrote on my Commodore 64 when I was in high school. I love this."
Damn, this is impressive. Fast and passionate, really great stuff. Wait, you were in San Antonio for All-State Rehearsals? I live in San Antonio, haha.
Wow this is an intense song, and to pull that much intensity out of the original soundfont is just incredible. also the tempo is insane i mean placing every note must have taken forever. great job.
